I 1000% agree in everything you said Matt!! People said I was crazy when I said I was pissed we traded Fox cause others said “Fox had to go”. I was so upset as a life long Kings fan that they even allowed the situation to get to this point and having to trade him instead of getting the man the length he had been asking the GM for for years!! Instead they trade the best PG we’ve had since Mike Bibby for ISO wing players that we “have” to start over Ellis otherwise the franchise looks bad 😒

I feel this downturn began when Brown benched Huerter early during preseason the second season. Everyone questioned it. I feel that began the break down of the good vibes.
Kings were doing great before LaVine.

We're on the same page, matt. Today's game was a complete embarrassment. Blow it all up. It's gonna hurt like hell when Keegan becomes the next khris Middleton and keon becomes the next Marcus smart/jaylen brown on other teams but this organization owes this fanbase a full rebuild. The one thing I'm curious about is was it mikes idea not to play keon? If so, that's a very bad move. I feel like we'd be in a better position without the trades and if keon was consistently getting ninutes

I think it’s pretty clear. With very few exceptions this team has their eyes on Cabo. Not the play in or the play-offs.

At this point, since we can't give the Suns the play in spot, maybe the Blazers are interested in taking it.
I was wrong … With lavine we turned into Chicago Bulls v2.0 as sone have said. I do love lavine but with DeMar and lavine together it just looks like two iso players who take turns "taking over" the shot time . Then we have half players defense and the other offensive. But we dont have Fox who at least created space when he dove to the rim or the paint. Monk does that too but with Fox you have 2. Now you have to rely on DeMar to be your assist guy?? That means the kings are stuck in iso and other teams defenses know what's coming. Sabonis isn't even bringing up the ball …and moving Monk back to the bench means lavine or DeMar are the kain ball handlers. That makes the kings predictable. Ellis is not a ball handler and distributor and yes he can hit the three… But i think defenses have adjusted to the Kings playbook now…and it wont change this year. Its painfully obvious that we need a "true point guard". Its not even Devin Carter who is not a pass first or distributor and im not saying hes a bad player. Its just not who is needed with the current roster.
i mean we are gonna listen regardless brotha! It’s a depressing time to be a kings fan but when hasn’t it been at least now we can hopefully have enough backwards momentum to reset. Everybody gotta go if they got any sorta value. that’s it it’s that simple, and as for content i say screw talkin anythin bout these games or if you do just brief coverage and pivot to interesting ideas like talking to the hawks about the pick and trae young as ridiculous as that would be. Unfortunately it’s more entertaining than this team at the moment

All I can say is perception in the NBA can change weekly. Look at the Miami Heat.
Losing to the Pacers was most likely the death blow for Christie becoming Head Coach and I'm bigtime rooting for Him but after tonight they will have to run the table and win at least one play In game for him to have even a chance especially with Taylor Jenkins available
