The Bucks season already wasn’t going well, and it just got worse. Damian Lillard has unfortunately been diagnosed with a blood clot issue and is out indefinitely – and might not return to the team AT ALL this season.

This is a similar issue (but not the same) to what knocked Victor Wembanyama out for the season for the Spurs just after the all-star break – and although first and foremost we all hope that Dame is able to recover from this and get healthy – this is now, officially, a nightmare for the Bucks. A team that already wasn’t that great, doesn’t have a future, and is missing it’s second best player indefinitely… this looks like a team that is unlikely to even win a single playoff series this year at all – and we all know what that means.

The Giannis rumors, the teams circling to try and get him to force a trade… another offseason of all of this pressure on Giannis and the Bucks – all because they simply haven’t been good enough.

  1. I’m sensing a Kobe type of situation here, like when he was thinking about requesting a trade from the Lakers. I hope the Bucks can pull off a miracle here and keep the greatest player in Milwaukee sports history.

  3. If the Bucks are serious, they should fire Doc, even though he “has an excuse” with the he Dame injury’s. With Taylor Jenkins available it may not be a bad idea to get him. I’m not sure what happened in Memphis, but you can’t argue with his results

  4. In 2022 the Bucks lost to Boston in 7, not 6. They even had a 3-2 lead, but after game 6 there was a shooting outside their stadium right after the game, and that kinda ruined the vibe.

  5. As a Bucks fan, I must say the past 4 years have been very disappointing. And the back half of the 2020s is going to be a VERY dark time for the franchise if Giannis leaves this offseason. But, the past decade of having him in the 414 has been a privilege and I feel beyond spoiled for it.

  6. Khris wasn't just hurt, he slipped on a wet spot on the court. It wasn't like a degenerative thing, it was a random act of violence from the universe…

  7. milwaukee is a small market and they made bad moves down the road he told them if they dont contend for a title he would leave

  8. Giannis ANTETOKOUNMPO next superstar request a TRADE 🔜

  10. Heres a hot take. Ever since Jimmy Haslem bought the Bucks in 2022 they've turned into the Cleveland Browns of the NBA. Misfortune at every move.
