Luke Kornet has played in the NBA over about seven total seasons. Never had a big contract. According to Hoopshype he's only made a total of 13.3 million for his entire career so far. He's turning 30. His value in the NBA has never been higher. He's an unrestricted free agent this summer. Some team, probably multiple teams, are going to be willing to give him a 3-year deal in the 6 to 8 million per year range this summer. Bank on that! This may be his last, best chance to sign a decent contract and make some good money before his career is over. But yeah, you guys are probably right. He'll definitely stay with the Celtics on the cheap and screw himself over just so the Billionaire that just bought the team can save some money on the luxury tax. GTFOH please!
