Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks REACTION + how De’Andre Hunter meshes with the Core 4

It started slow, but the Cleveland Cavaliers found a way to overcome a double-digit deficit again to beat the New York Knicks in a nationally televised game.

Donovan Mitchell was awesome, Isaac Okoro made an impact off the bench, and De’Andre Hunter finally got a chance to shine with the Core 4 and the results were wonderful.

Jason & McNuggets react to everything you need to know from the game and how the Cavs can continue to stay hot through the stretch.

Cleveland got back into the winning side of things on Sunday afternoon, topping the LA Clippers at home. Three Cavaliers scored 20-plus points in the win: Jarrett Allen (25 points), Donovan Mitchell (24 points), and Evan Mobley (22 points). Both Allen and Mitchell recorded a double-double by grabbing 12 rebounds.

The New York Knicks are coming off a win against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, and they’ll play the second night of a back-to-back against the Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Cavs have two wins over the Knicks this season, including a 37-point blowout the last time these teams faced off. New York has been playing without Jalen Brunson (ankle) as of late, but it has held its ground as the No. 3 seed in the East.

  1. Continuing to start Struss against Boston has been one of the very few head scratching moves KA has been doing. The Cavs already have an undersized back court and you may be able to get away with Struss at the 3 against inferior opponents but against the OKC or Bostons of the world it just doesn't seem to work
