How important is Ty Jerome to the Cleveland Cavaliers’ championship chances?

The Cleveland Cavaliers’ depth has been one of the key reasons for their dominance throughout the NBA season. However, one of their most important rotation members hasn’t appeared in a game since March 25.

Ty Jerome has missed the past four games with a knee injury. The injury started as soreness but was later identified as tendinous on the injury report. While Jerome remains sidelined, Kenny Atkinson provided a rather encouraging update on Cleveland’s guard.

“If this was a playoff game today, he’d play,” said Atkinsom before Cleveland’s showdown with the New York Knicks on Wednesday night | https://www.si.com/nba/cavaliers/news/cleveland-cavaliers-coach-shares-injury-update-on-ty-jerome

  1. Tyvis hit the nail on the head. They need to play to stay in rhythm. Every time we “rest” players it doesn’t help them it hurts them.

  2. If dudes are hurt on the team it’s stupid for them to play rn. Cavs tryna win a chip not the regular season awards

  3. Stop constantly questioning Darius then saying “I’m not saying is feel this way” DG is better than Ty and we all love Ty.

  4. Jason has no idea what he’s talking about. Jerome is extremely important in the playoffs. Without Jerome we wouldn’t have won a lot of the games we did this season.

  5. I had to comment because Bull said something false when he said that the Cavs whipped the Knicks in the regular season 2 years ago. The Cavs finished with a better record than the Knicks that season and had home court advantage over them in that series but I was telling everyone that would listen that the Cavs are in trouble and may lose to the Knicks and it was because of the regular season games against the Knicks that season. The Cavs played the Knicks 4 times in the regular season of 2022-23 and only won 1 game and it was the first game that they played them and then they lost the next 3 games they played them in that season. I remember it vividly because all regular season I kept going on different podcasts that cover the Cavs and I would point out the Cavs Rebounding Problem that season and I remember a lot of people thought that the Cavs were going to beat the Knicks and I said the Cavs are going to lose if they can't Rebound the Ball and the Knicks were the Best Rebounding team all season long that year and the Cavs got dominated on the boards in every game they played the Knicks in the regular season and it ended up happening against them in that series and that's why a lot of people were calling Allen soft and saying that the backcourt was too small or that Mobley needs to put on some weight! The regular season matters to teams that are trying to develop winning habits and work on their weaknesses and build upon specific strengths and the Cavs have displayed to me this season that they have a winning formula and let's just enjoy the rest of the season and " Let's Go Cavs"

  6. Tivis is telling the truth and you keep taking all these players out. Messing up the rhythm with all your players. It makes no sense.

  7. Last point the Cavs offense is not solely reliant on one or two players having to play great. What makes what the Cavs have been doing special is that it's a collective approach to how their offense works meaning everyone has something that they bring to the team offensively and defensively but especially offensively and that's why this team is deep and has options and can win in every way you have to win!" Let's Go Cavs"

  8. ……….JEROME……..HAS…….NOT……..FAILED………ONCE……..FOR THIS TEAM…………DON'T UNDER ESTIMATE THIS MAN………….STAR IN THE MAKING………
