It's not a knock saying he has been bad at rim protection because of what's required of him every game to produce with generating the offense. He has been super elite and this is going to be a year to remember.
It’s not Jokić with bad defense. 6’8” Gordon and 6’10” MPJ are the 2 worst shot blockers on the team and neither very good at steals. Gordon also the 2nd worst rebounder on the team, with MPJ not being that great….Braun and Westbrook have to pick up a lot of slack for entire team in things they are bad at like shot blocking, and steals for these two, rebounding for Gordon and assists for MPJ. Then Murray can’t rebound to save his life and Westbrook better at assists. Jokić just has to do everything with a team that does very little
Jokic is NOT the best offensive player ever stop saying that bs. Maybe a top 3 big man offensive talent. But overall no way, he's to slow, unathletic and isnt a good enough scorer/ shooter. All he can do is pass and paint points.
Its more to NBA offense then pass and paint points. Jokic isnt even a top offensive player in today's NBA. Offense is scoring/shooting/passing and being athletic, fast, etc all helps alot. Jokic is not that stop saying that.

NO WAY, his career high is 61 points and his number of 30/40/50 points games is a joke compared to others. Gets one of the best big man offensive talents. But not overall. He's just a great passer and thats one part of offense.
A "Offensive Goat" would never be 0-6 and get beat by a young Anthony Edwards no way. Jokic is one of the best passers ever, but its way more to offense. You lost alot of credibility with this one Jason.

Jokic is nowhere near as good on defense as he on offense, but can we stop talking about his defense like it’s so bad he’s a liability? He’s third in steals per game, and last I knew the Nuggets defensive rating went down a couple points when he was off the floor.
I think in my humble opinion that no one asked for 😂. the narrative that Jokic is bad on defense I disagree. His deflections are there and how he reads the game. He won’t make flashy blocks or contest at the rim but he’s defensive in other ways. I think if he had a real skilled defender on that roaster it wouldn’t highlight those flaws as much

Jordan is the greatest player ever, but Jokic is the greatest floor raiser ever. He does everything the NBA media has told us for decades that empty stats LeBron does (not). If Jokic had those Heat and Cavs rosters then we wouldn't be talking about how great the Spurs and Warriors were. Instead we are talking about "what if" he had a real team, and not a 4th option pretending to be a 2nd option in Jamal Murray.
Jokic literally carrying the Nuggets on his back all season long. Imagine having a lot of triple-doubles coming in just 3 quarters! Apart from doing all those things, while on the floor he has to orchestrate the play and keep everything and everyone in line.
