Whatever energy of mental toughness and confidence this hawks team had had this season going into some of their games and stepping it up to that GAME TIME winning level has now dissipated and now lost to the past it seems..their total disconnection from the game with their lack of focus and performance is the clear indicator and that's a disappointment. Through Quin and Trae their leader this has to be dealt with and the team has to find that confidence once again because atp they can't afford to completely drop to 10seed WAKE UP HAWKS!! Knicks were in a great rhythm offensively today in the ATL as they shot 53% from the field and 51% from 3. Atlanta just could not slow down their offense, in particular Knicks starters were lights out.

I don't know what else to say but the Knicks defeating us 3 times to Hawks 2 is really good for them heading into the playoffs. Hawks allowed the Knicks to get too many points from the paint, the drive by layups were never an issue for New York and the execution was just super great from the floor. Real proud of LeVert and Terrance Mann. No matter what losses the Hawks suffer Levert and Dyson Daniels are two of our top stealers when taking away the basketball.
I also like that Trae was being totally agressive. If Zaccharie isn't rookie of the year I will be truly disappointed because every game he plays in, Risacher produces. I think giving Gueye time to flourish is good also because he brings similar things to an Onyeka Okongwu.
Only difference is Okongwu can provide multiple things to the court that the Hawks need. Anyone feel like Mo Gueye should join G- League Play until he improves his defense? I am one of those people. But overall I believe in him. This loss definitely makes the Hawks more of a play in round squad than an actual playoff team. We will be dangerous for anybody long as we have Trae, Daniels, and Zaccharie Risacher.
