The Phoenix Suns made history when they dealt for Kevin Durant at the deadline a couple years ago and followed it up with adding Bradley Beal and Jusuf Nurkic the following offseason alongside Devin Booker. And, it’s lead to nothing. They’re bound to miss the Playoffs, they’re likely dealing away Kevin Durant this offseason, and Devin Booker might be coming next. They quickly went from one of the NBA’s most exciting teams to a nightmare. And it’s not getting better soon. Let’s talk about it

Devin booker don’t deserve this. He’s been too loyal to that franchise for him to put up with that.
At the start of last season, when rumors came out that the Suns were interested in Bradley Beal, my reaction was, "Please God no."
Kd and DBook are an incredible duo. Why would you ever think about adding another ball dominant "star" The formula for what works with these two players has already been established. Matt Ishbia needs to take a step back. The whole front office needs to be fired. Abhorrent roster construction.
This team has no passion, no heart, no hustle, no will, nothing. These players will get regularly embarrassed. The front office has set all of these players up to fail, and the players haven't done anything to help their case. Ugliest, 2 seasons I've seen. Arguably, worse than the Dragan Bender years.
As a Suns fan of over 30yrs, this current version is the worst team I've ever seen here in the Valley. Nothing against him as a person, but I want to launch Beal out of the solar system. Dude is a complete negative, and has a losing attitude that's infected the entire team. Worst contract in NBA history, and trading for him was an idiotic move.

Beal should've legitimately gotten 0 points cuz that trip to the line was on some bullshit officiating. He is legitimately trash, doesn't make anyone better, and I don't think this little dude could guard ME in the post.
Dude will be remembered as one of the best thieves of human history.
Kevin Durant is an old busrider and I can only hope that my Wolves aren't stupid enough to trade for him. He is not a winning option in 2025 and beyond. That's just the reality of the situation.

Became a Suns fan right before the bubble, so not too long, but ever since we went to the finals, we have just made wrong move after wrong move. I was disappointed with the KD trade, but I could understand it. However as SOON as we traded for Beal, I genuinely knew we would never be good again. Cancelled my Suns League Pass that same day
Stop comparing this to the KG Pierce Brooklyn Nets, the Nets actually made noise in the 2014 playoffs, and when KG and Pierce left, they rebuilt a new playoff team in 3 years. This Suns rebuild might be the longest ever😂😂😂
Matt Ishbia just needs to bite the bullet and publicly tell Beal he isn't playing another minute in the NBA until his contract expires or he relinquishes the 'no trade clause'

I knew the suns were dead the moment they signed Bradley beal.
If only they didn't trade for Beal, they might be okay right now. But that Beal trade was the nail in the coffin. Used all assets and the money on him could've been used to attain star role players or shoot maybe they could've actually got Jimmy Butler this season. He was redundant as well, Devin Booker did the same thing. A scoring shooting guard but way younger and on a better contract.
I love these team focused videos especially going into the playoffs because this can all take effect in the offseason i think you should do one on the pistons and maybe another team.

Still clinging to the idea the Durant trade wasn't a mistake is a major shortcoming in your basketball analysis.
The Durant trade is the cornerstone of this failure. Period. Both the trade itself and the pursuit of it. The Beal trade just took them from inevitable failuer to inevitable historic failure.
