I’m from Denver, and was a huge Melo fan from day one. He forced his way out and didn’t want to be here. Why he thinks he should be loved like Joker is delusional. Joker is way better, and loves Denver.

Sorry retiring a jersey should only be reserved for someone who does something drastic for the team. If you didn't win or get to the finals you don't deserve your jersey retired. An honorable mention and a plack on the wall maybe that teams hall of fame but thats it. Its not special if everyone gets it that was good.

As someone born and raised in Denver, and a lifelong nuggets fan, we’ve forgotten melo. He left us, he abandoned us. He doesn’t deserve to get his number retired by us. He chose to be a Knick, let him be remembered as a Knick.
