    Perhaps this is the day it started, the gelling of the team, then the winning out of the remainder of the season leading to more chemistry and renewed confidence, the momentum swinging and carrying us into the play-in, followed by the now inevitable Playoff series where the Kings Shock the Thunder in a 4-1 takedown to move on to the next series…

    Great Job Matt! People needed to hear this! Too many Kings fans and maybe the shitty front office would think this season to be a success if they got to the playoffs. I think a lot like you, to me it is all about competing with elite teams. The Kings have not shown over that last three years that they can compete with elite teams in a playoff series. The Warriors were not an elite team. When the solve their severe deficiencies, rim protection, top 10 defense, especially three-point defense and sharing the ball on offense, then and only then can I believe in them. It is all about making noise in the playoffs, moving deep into at a minimum the Western Conference Final and showing they can truly complete for a championship. You are correct, there must be consistency especially on defense for that to happen.

    There is one interesting thing to think about and you are right overall, it will not let them advance, but DeRozan and Lavine have not tasted the playoffs for a long time, how would they play on the biggest stage if they were lucky enough to get there? That would be interesting!
