i think im tired of people ragging on scottie
Could be just rhythm. Rotations are off, players are in/out of the lineup, line up's are different from game to game. Raps trying to loose. He's sitting for example in a close 4th quater game where a player would be more aggressive. Lets see next year when he has someone like BI next to him and games matter.
The coach doesn't utilize him right.
Scottie was just nominated Defensive Player of the Month…im really concerned now…maybe we should bring back Demar so he can score his way to a championship

There is nothing wrong with Scottie.
Has he been struggling offensively lately…. Yeah…. But have you noticed that he hasn’t been the focal point of several games and that he has been working on different things that he isn’t good at….then plays really well vs good teams… yeah, maybe people havent noticed but they would do weird things with their lineups and try different combinations and getting players to do things they are uncomfortable doing against bad teams and then versus good teams they put a plan in place and play a more proper game…..
You say the team has built a team around Barnes the last couple years? What team have you been following? They traded most of their team last year. The team this year is almost half rookies and G league players on top of all that the team is trying to lose to maintain their position and draft odds….
You also mention that you want Barnes to stop working on his game? Are people going crazy?
Then you give Pascal Siakam as an example of a big player without a 3 point shot…. Do you even watch basketball? Siakam went from a player running the fastbreak to now having a good over all game. He went from shooting 14% from 3 to 38% this past year. With the Raptors he had years where he shot 34% 35% and 37% from 3….
Telling your player not to improve their overall game is crazy….
The Raptors ruined Scottie Barnes development by trying to make him something he’s not. Alvin Williams and Vince Carter have been saying time after time they need to play him in the post. The issue is they think he’s some kind of Giannis, or Lebron type of player that can play every position so they insist on trying to make him some kind of point forward. They’re asking him to do too much. Stop trying to make him a point guard and get him in the post. There’s nothing wrong with being a Joe Johnson type of scorer.
