There were rumors before the year started that the league was telling refs to call a more physical game. Less ticky tack fouls and more leeway with aggressive defense. I’ve been watching the Rockets all year, and nearly every game has been as physical as this one. The league has changed.
Honestly don’t see how anyone bitches about foul calls when all we cried about for years was too many fouls. I much prefer this style of game to one where every touch is a foul.

How to play against Thompson? Keep going at him. Be super hyper physical, attack and attack him, he will foul. IF the refs do their job of course.
Rockets did a lot of hugging and grabbing on Curry without refs calling this as fouls.
You can see it not only amen but jalen Dillon Fred also guard him on a pick while alpi blitz or double him it's a team effort
