    Main dude at Grizz 901 haters Edey SO much, against Detroit he dismissed the 21 because Detroit center was hurt. Then, after he shut down the Charlotte center (who had been on a tear the last few games), the 901 dude said the Charlotte center isn't good. Some people just won't get over their hate, no matter what. So I come to LOCKED IN GRIZZLIES. Clearly not Edey fan boys, but fair. All I ask is fair. Edey isn't peaking, he's climbing! Hope rest of Grizzlies fans start seeing how lucky we are to have all our rookies.

    My only thing is that we aren’t getting the most out of JJJ. He’s just shooting a bunch of 3s. There needs to be a slight change in the offensive scheme during his minutes/touches. Him hanging around the 3pt line isn’t what’s gonna make us go far in the playoffs.

    I hope this doesn’t hinder his development over the offseason. His biggest weakness is strength. If he can build muscle and a bit more mass over the offseason, he can be a much better defender.

    The recent grizzlies success, albeit against bad teams is a direct reflection of firing Taylor Jenkins. For whatever reason, Taylor took, perhaps the best pick and roll player in the league in Ja Morant, and turned him into an outside shooter by not using the pick and roll second, you have perhaps the best pick setter in the NBA in Zach Edey. Finally like the new coach said there are non-stat sheet things that Edie brings to the table that I think is showing up on the defense and as the grizzlies are no longer giving up 130 points a game. It just appeared to me like Taylor Jenkins. Didn’t realize the personal he had and their strengths and ended up playing to our opponents strengths. Why would you play an up-tempo outside oriented game when you have triple J and Zach Edey for your front line and Ja Morant coming off of picks? As zach gets more familiar and integrated into Memphis’s offense, he will be an automatic double double machine.
