Two playoff teams fire their coaches just before they start the playoffs? It’s almost as if some unseen force (😈) is helping a certain playoff team in the west. The timing is just outrageous
The only real problem with Malone is he was riding his stars too hard, too many minutes, too many comeback wins. And injury list reflects it. Whos not injured is dead tired just in time for playoffs.
They could have let the season end. Stupid to fire him now. Like Shaq said: it’s up to the players to navigate if they have issues with the coach. He said they had to do that on his championship teams. He said it wasn’t all roses, but you rally together as players. Blaming the coach is weak, especially at this point in the season.
Its not a coincidence that the two teams the lakers could potentially meet in the playoffs, have fired their coaches weeks before the playoffs begin. Nba is rigged.

I NEVER want to hear that women are too emotional. EVER. According to other reports, these grown men were whining because Mike Malone was too “harsh” or “negative” or “ruined the vibe” just because he called them out on defense. That is ridiculous. They just want to be cheered on all the time. This is why relationships don’t work. The woman says “Can we work on this?” and it’s translated to: “Well, if you don’t want me anymore, then you can leave.” It’s ridiculous. Mike Malone should not have been fired.
The fact they fired the HC and the GM says there is something more going on here. Nobody fires a coach at this point with the 4th seed going in. Thats weird

I feel like only nuggets fans really ubderstand why this happened. If you went to the games you would have seen it. Became very toxic. Hr has been nowere near a great coach past 2 seasons
This NBA season will be known as the most ludicrous season ever. Starting with Luka being traded only to the Lakers and not the highest bidder/Grizzlies coach/ Nuggets coach. None of this makes sense firing coaches. Right before playoff time.
Coach Malone downfall was falling in love with Westbrook. No coach in their right mind would close games with that unstable, unpredictable "Football" wanna be player. You use him 3/4 quarters then let him watch from the Bench. But no, Malone got too attached with him and costed Joker the MVP and a good playoff position. So yeah, Malone had it coming. Good move by the Nuggets owner. I also must say, this would have never happen without Joker approval.

Imagine this… Malone goes to San Antonio, that tall French first center, Jokic as a replacement (he doesn't see the NBA as something important anyway, he makes money, he doesn't get annoyed).
