   back in the day, it was a MENTALITY THING. And Giannis came from nothing people. Look at the man in his rookie year. HE put that time in. Nobody else.

   Giannis would whoop ass regardless of era because his game is predicated first and foremost on mental strength.

   If you're gonna say jokers low energy no defense bullshit is anyway better than the masterpiece on both ends that is Giannis, you don't deserve a platform on a bucks station.

   Let's look at it
   The nuggets are 20th defensively. Joker is busy trying to do too much on offense, there are other players on that team that can create, but they have to defer. That's impacting them negatively. Those same players have to cover joker defensively. Who is covering Giannis defensive role? Nobody. He covers his and then some.
   Now to offense, 70% of joker shots are off assists. Hes a low efficiency player on self created shots.
   Who is creating giannis shot for him? Only his own self. He creates his own and he creates for others.

   Giannis is told let dame handle the ball even though giannis is a passing prodigy. Jokic isn't handling the ball at all. He's dishing stationary assists off set plays.

   Come on. This is some bullshit.

   I can tell baron in fact doesn't watch joker. He isn't exciting to watch play lmao. I've watched every nuggets game this season that did conflict with bucks. I've watched him all season. I've watched when he doesn't play too.
   Joker is a stand still system player. He runs a SPECIFIC set of plays stand still. His teammates complete all of the movement and finish the play, he stands STILL to receive the ball to shoot it.

   Joker is way way way overhyped. Elite player but he is not on the level of giannis because he doesn't have the endurance or mental strength to put himself through the grind giannis goes through every single game on both ends.

   Giannis role is way way bigger and tougher than jokers.

   Sorry but when a team is LOSING GAMES because their SEVEN FOOT CENTER will not exert any effort defensively, we should NOT be glazing them

   You diminish giannis saying he wouldn't be as competitive in the 70s and then you overhype a soft player known for flopping bitching and moaning the the refs and not playing defense and claim him the mvp?

   Congrats to joker on being 3rd in steals since he can't guard anybody or defend the paint. The opponent literally hunts him out to score easy layups. Imagine being near 300 pounds and the opponent WANTS TO MATCH UP WITH YOU because you are the best option to score against. The team is better defensively without him.

   I can't believe the only guy standing up for giannis is Kris. Kudos to Kris.

   Baron sits up there and claims that the offense is all joker. Mmk. Then why can't he make shots without an assist from a teammate?

   Why does Giannis handle the ball full court and Jokic does not? Why does giannis have the ball in his hands longer? Why is giannis usage rate higher?

   Giannis teammates have NOTHING to cover for the freak. They can focus on themselves and their role. Giannis creates their opportunities by drawing doubles.

   Giannis is the most double teamed per possession in the league and scores the most points per double team. Joker isn't top 10 in either category.

   It's time to stop crediting Jokic for the work of the team acting like he throws the ball and it magically translates to points–NO, they nuggets are busting ass and succumbing to injury trying to compensate for that dude. Complete insanity 🤯

   I expect way better if you Marques. Super disappointing episode. I hear enough all day everyday about joker this joker that. The big lumbering no-defense stationary passing scorer-off assists gets his praise.

   Let's use bucks platforms to promote our own.

   AND FINALLY
   defensive rating HEAVILY weighs rebounds and is matchup dependent. If you are guarding the softest player on each team, you will have a better defensive rating.
   Now jokers defensive rating is 115
   giannis defensive rating is 111.

   Bucks defense is 126.7 when giannis sits. It's 109.7 when he plays!!!!!! For Denver, their defensive rating is 115 without out him compared to 116 with him.

   Now the on/off is bullshit as well, because our guy giannis is a selfless player. Hes a dog. He doesn't need 4 starters on the court with him to be effective because he self creates. Jokic does need the starters because he almost always takes assisted shots. Jokic plays almost ALL MINUTES w 3+ starters.
   Giannis is used as a true leader and put out there with a 4 man bench unit regularly.

   Marques and Kris, frankly, you owe those of us who listen an episode where you are PROMOTING giannis and not just using him as a prop to lift up Jokic. So disappointed with this one. We just cannot give giannis credit collectively as a fanbase or as the media.
   Imagine if giannis went around putting up 3 more assists and did nothing other than get a steal or 2 each night defensively 😂 THE SLANDER HE WOULD ENDURE

   You know the Greek is the only player we all EXPECT excellence from on both ends. He has the highest standard–that means he's the BEST player.
