I’m such a hypocrite, because I hate when ppl say this about the Thunder, but… they’re young😂 props to them from going to play-in (I think?) last year to what they’re doing this year. Jalen Green has known to be streaky, and supposedly Sengun isn’t a great rim protector (don’t kill me on this, maybe he’s improved)
The casuals sleep on them because they get their info from national narratives.
They aren't known to have "a guy" because they're all 23 and under
It makes sense. They have a #2, #3 and #4 overall pick developing into blossoming stars. They have two guys that were the steals of their drafts. They have quality vets. They have an amazing coach that is teaching them the right way.
Alpi and Amen look like a powerhouse big two in the making. Maybe Amen ends up as PG once Fred is gone.
I’m a little confused about Dillon Brooks starting over Tari. Isn’t Tari just better? Don’t he and Amen have insane numbers as a duo? I don’t actually know, I’m asking.
I want to see how Amen, Green, Tari, Alpi, and Adams perform as a lineup.
Man they've hated on the Rockets for years, and the media hate us real. That's alright, let them keep that energy, show and tell us all the Rockets have been doing. Htown baby!!!!
The great thing about the Rockets is that they can play big or small and will therefore prove to be a matchup nightmare in the playoffs. If anything, i think we are looking at a lot of great series coming up in the west
Every talking because of the lakers game like rockets weren’t on a second night of a back to back and lost by 4 when gave Vincent and Dorian finney smith hit 6 threes each which won’t happen ever again. The rockets are the real deal and they will show everybody just cause your young doesn’t mean you can’t dog teams in the playoffs
Its ime fault bot trusting jalen green when the fact jalen helps this tesm win a lot of game thsi season he limits jalen minutes against lakers that why we loss that game without jalen in this team this team will not succeed he is the most important piece of this rockets he is the only one who can make shot in tougher situation because he can shoot outside and can drive to the basket he is elite penetrator can finish with both hands and he leaping and quickness can blow by defender
If you think rockets will make it to west finals put money on it. Show us that you really behind what you saying and have faith in it put your money where your mouth is.
No one loves Houston teams except Houston people. We're not some cuddly media-friendly story like a struggling Midwestern city or glamorous like Miami or Los Angeles. We're not steeped in the history of the game like the Celtics or Cowboys or Red Wings. We're just the fourth-biggest city in the USA, because millions of people moved here to get rich. The assumption is that we're not a real community, that if things go wrong in the oil industry millions will move away.
This why I cannot stand to watch national media. LeBron and the Lakers win a few games and the media won't shut up about the Lakers being title favorites.
Meanwhile, Houston has numerous impressive wins, showing grit and toughness. Only for the media to scoff at Houston, saying facing Houston in the playoffs would be a cake walk
The boring but true answer is the public doesn't buy into a team coming off a rebuild until they see a statement made in the playoffs. That's just how it works in pro sports. The reason I'm not worried about them not showing up in the playoffs is their style of play under Ime and veteran players in Fred (who has won a title) and Brooks. If they go into the playoffs healthy they're gonna make some noise
Greetings from Turkiye. We love Houston R. and Alperen,Green,Amen,Steven,Jabari,Sheppard,Brook,Vanflet and Udoko… A basketball team is going to be better if there are valuable players at the bench. Udako knows it.
I’d rather have my team built this way, homegrown, with solid players and not a “superstar.” It’s reminiscent of the Pistons that beat the Lakers in 2004 of the NBA Finals. Great players (never considered superstars) in Billups, Prince, Wallace, Sheed and Rip beat the Superstar team of Kobe and Shaq. You can shutdown one superstar to disrupt the opponent. But good luck neutralizing a team where ALL players contribute!

Also… cmon man. Don’t fall for the Clippers hype😭

And they struggled in February due to injuries.
The Rockets were on a second night of a B2B and the Lakers barely won that game.
Take it from a 40 year basketball analyst the Rockets 🚀 top contenders

I called Rockets v Cavs finals in December.
Rockets are honestly better than OKC. Idc
They are 7-10 im back2backs and playoffs have none of it.

This is why i hate ESPN always talking about the Same Players and Same Teams but Houston is Not even worth the mention

I don't care about the national media. Let them talk about the Lakers and Warriors. I'm not tuned in anyway.
Nobody believes in the Rockets because the Lakers and the Warriors are the NBA's favorite teams.
Go Rockets, fly high!
If Jalen locks in, and taps into that mode he can get to, the rockets could make it to the finals

The Rockets will get to the Finals. They have the Assets. Senguns Freethrows have to be better.
Vamos Houston calladitos que ganamos🤘
Elon Musk should buy this team😅
Ime Udoka for Coach of the Year
Great show and Go Rockets!!

Atleast nba legends like Paul pierce and Kevin Garnett give Houston their props
Excellent points.

Udako knows it.
1) sports media doesn't want to talk about coach
2) they haven't done anything in the playoffs yet
I enjoy the Rockets being the underdog. There's nothing worse than not living up to the hype. Being the dark horse better suits the 🚀

@1:05 Who gets a pick 6 steal and hangs his head? … A guy that just shot 2 air balls and a wld brick. Still love his game, though.
