  1. Isn't Frank Vogel a defensive specialist or something ? It could be a good choice, they don't need more offense anyway.

  2. Sorry, dude, but there's more to defense than leap and speed. advanced stats (defensive win shares, defensive box plus/minus) have Jokic as either excellent or great defender. he's great at striking the balance between hedging and showing on PnR's. as others mentioned, he directs the defense like a strong safety. the nuggets defense falls apart more than their offense when he sits, and that's saying something.
they don't need great defenders. they just need someone better than murray and especially mpj.

  3. Actually wrong on defense. Jokic can't afford to play defense and thus is limited to stealing balls rather than getting tangled up under the rim. The few times he does turn it on on the defensive end he is effective. In fact, to protect himself from fouling/out he opens up the lane.

  4. Jokic barely cares about playing ball in the first place. He'll stay in Denver forever if they pay him adequately. He has been there his whole career, has his life set up over there.

  5. honestly that embellishment for that foul on Westbrook is bringing back the worst kind of memories of Harden. Dude was getting ready for the flop before Russ got close. That kind of stuff is just one reason why people get frustrated with the NBA nowadays

  6. Nikola Jokic is NOT a Top 10 player of all time and most likely will never be. Stop saying things prematurely. Let players earn it and have these conversation after their careers are over.

  7. What if we took Aaron rodgers as head coach?? Denver ownership just might go for it, i mean, at this point they might as well call themselves the Glazers and just piss on the team
