I think they have been waiting for the playoffs… Experience… Factor in those close games we played last month… Makes us battle tested… Enter Benn Mathurin… Also our Defense is better in the playoffs… But we will miss Isiah Jackson.
Benn will get to the free throw line.
When someone goes on about Benn without mentioning Aaron's 1000 percent improvement on offense being a major ex factor, I know they are not watching Pacers on the regular. Interesting comparing Myles with Porzingis and Chet in making Pacers unique.
Pretty obvious Combo does not pay close attention to the Pacers.
I wanna steal some rest for guys like Ty and Siakim. Also hide our hand a little bit since we may see the Cavs later. But we struggle so much in these “should win” games.
I wish Giannis would have signed with the Pacers. If we had Giannis, no one would beat us. We'd be by far the best fit for Giannis.
Ben Mathurin attacking the rim will be huge for the Pacers in the playoffs. His ability to draw fouls will be great for the team. Allowing guy's to rest during the game. Because we play so fast. Ben and Obi both being much better on D is also huge. Nesmith is playing the best basketball of his career. I feel his offensive game and energy on Defense will be much better too this year. Because he has Mathurin and now Walker to help carry the load. Nesmith doesn't have to exert so much energy for the entire game on D. So if we end up having to face BOS and CLE. We will get the best out of Nesmith on both ends. We will need our wings the most in those series.
Pacers will be tough if Carlisle gives Toppin and Walker extended minutes instead of pulling them minute they get warmed up. Otherwise, it will be early exit. Mathurin is good when he has hands on ball. /besides that he does little, out there.
I understand our magic number is one game to win. But wouldn’t it be so cool if you were a 50 win team?😅

I guess we'll see what kind of night we're having. If the shots are falling, and the chip is on the shoulder, there will be good news to talk about tomorrow.
Definitely Benn's improved ability to get buckets, especially at the rim will be huge in the post season. Also Nemhardt has progressed as a perimeter stopper. If Hali elevates his game like he did last year, we're gonna be a real tough out. I honestly think we could beat the Cavs if we get to rd.2
