He was never expected to be an NBA-level contributors as a rookie. Heβs got the requisite athleticism and motor to last in the NBA, but needs to actually pick up some skills.
The Miller pick is an easy A considering how he shapes up compared to the rest of his class. It really is only Wemby that's better but we all knew that was gonna be the case. He really has the potential to be a consistent all-star he's proven that already
The injury issues for Mark Williams are overblown he hasnβt had any problems since the Lakers rescinded the trade, which obviously happened cuz they gave up an allstar caliber package for a role player.
Salaun was an awful pick, even in the moment. He's a PF who shot 37% from the field in France who went 6th overall, over guys like Knecht and Edey who at the very least are playable contributors with low upside. And above guys like Jared McCain, who shows a lot of promise and showed way more promise before the NBA. Anytime you pick a PF who is shooting 33.8% from the field in the NBA in the first 6 picks, bad decision. I doubt he turns into anything. The Hornets will be lucky if he develops into a real 7th man. In a weak draft where there's no real assured stars, pick on fit and floor. The Hornets didn't and this'll likely be a wasted pick.

Salaun right now is a D to D+ with room to go up.

Brandon miller is an A+ a 6'8 wing that can shoot, dunk with crazy athleticism and he plays defense
