Our Sengun is always getting beaten half to death in the paint and folks like these don't ever want to acknowledge it! And the majority of the time, he never get the calls or fouls he deserves while he's working so hard. You ever wonder how these people have jobs. I'm looking at a cast of 3 who have ZERO respect for their jobs. They knew exactly what they were going to talk about on the show but still yet wouldn't even dedicate 5 minutes to watch the tape before the show and see how the play evolved. If they had even bothered to look at the tape, they would have seen Sengun mopping up his mouth with a bloody towel after the play and the trainers checking to see if his teeth were still in his mouth. Had they just watched 2 minutes of the action, they would have been 100% more qualified to talk about the play than they were. But that's todays media, come on camera and yap yap yap for a while and they pat yourselves on the back and go home proud. Draymond has the longest leash in the NBA. If Dillon Brooks was yelling and spewing epithets and elbow a stomach and straight up pushing a guy off a spot with both arms extended right in front of the ref while hes yelling at the ref too to blow a whistle if he thinks its wrong and fuck what the ref says… he would be thrown out of the game.
Absolutely not this was a very smart player that jumped flying elbow first into the face of sengun in an attempt to break face and get him injured then we see draymond get back into his layup posture by leaning back to stright up and down and lays it in. If yall watched the game Sengun literally was spitting blood into a towel. Luckily Draymond got him in the mouth and not the nose or cheek he was aiming for. Also, Draymond was yelling when the whistle went off slick with and one and one mfs. When he turned around the whistle was on him instead. Dray thought that I can go up as violently with this elbow as I want and aim for a facial fracture and no one will be the wiser because both my hands were still on the ball so I can argue its a natural layup motion.
Not no but hell no. When a player goes up for a dunk or layup theres no need ever and we never see a guy use the tip of his elbow to zero in on a body part. You never see it because its intentional when it happens. Incidental elbows are when a guy cant see the other guy and he doesnt know hes there frfr not faking like he doesnt but honestly didnt know the guy was there because he was behind him or something like that. If Dray was incidental here then every time a player walled up straight up and down do contest wed be seeing so many elbows to faces every single game because this play happens at least 8 times a game. No dray knew what slick shit he was trying to pull and he still didnt get ejected. If that was dillon hed be ejected fined and suspended. Drays leash is insane.
