  1. It's not "part of the business" to trade a highly successful coach 3 games before the playoffs. Same with the Jenkins firing so close to the playoffs. Now maybe it's becoming part of the business, and that means respect between owners and coaches is dwindling down to nothing, and who gets their way? The owners. Maybe there will be a time when owners will be "fired", as in forced to sell due to incompetency. I would love to see that day. Interim owners can be the fans. Green Bay Packers publicly owned. Maybe all teams should be.

  2. Good players but the ball is in his hands too much. That's why they WON'T WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP. they have a strange offensive scheme. They are a first round exit

  3. Jokic just come over to Los Angeles Lakers you'll be happy with Luka and 45 year old Lebron

  4. Dude is not comfortable being bombarded like that lol. He’s too polite, should just decline to comment

  5. He doesn't look happy especially when asked about the owner…šŸ¤” and your head coach shouldn't get fired to spark up your team that's beyond desperation that's just plain stupid. Players win and lose games not cosches 95% of the time. And defense is mostly effort not malone's fault for his players not outting effort

  6. What is the over/under on Malone still having his job if Russ makes that layup? Feels like that game was a make or break for the team (as they were) and it not working essentially destroyed the locker room. Team blames Malone for keeping Russ in. Loses faith. Bam. Gone.

  7. All rigged the nba just wants lebum to get his fifth ring

That’s why everything is so secretive, from the Luka trade to this happening weeks before the playoffs. Trash nba

  8. I like Mike Malone but if he okayed or had a say in brining Westbrick than I respect the firing decision otherwise it’s f’d up

  9. This is the NBA at work behind the scene's to get Joker upset and ready to move him to L.A when Lebron leaves

  10. Jokic looked stunned after Malone’s firing. Right before the playoffs, too—timing couldn’t be worse. This could shake up the Nuggets’ rhythm big time.

  11. It's interesting how divided people are on how or what Jokic is thinking – He really is the Joker.

My take is that he is embracing the change, he's showing frustration towards reporters because he somewhat feels guilty about it and wants to move on.

  12. what i imagine texting jokic saying Mike got fired was along the line of:
Josh Kroenke: "Jokic we have fired Coach Malone"
    Jokic: "šŸ‘šŸ»"

  13. Media always try to twist things…. lol….. he said nothing change. But i know for sure he’s happy he’s out lol

  14. Love joker man… Mike Malone was my favorite coach in the league… ā€œPut that in your pipe, you smoke it and come back for the next game.ā€ Love when he said that in the 4-1 nuggets lakers series.

  15. So many front offices suck in all sports nowadays because they just hire people with money and connections who don’t know anything about the sport to make crazy decisions. I’m pretty sure they can just select a random average fan of the sport to manage the teams and they’ll do a way better job but everyone only cares about money šŸ’°

  16. Mike malone underestimated the chaos the brick brought onto the court. How tf did he not see it? Does he not see the box score and spot 7-9 turnovers damn

  17. Your comment is not in harmony with the facts. The NBA expects all players to make themselves available to the media, especially after a game. Jokic hates it but is very accommodating. Now, it's up to him on how he chooses to answer the questions. However, one thing was very telling when he said that the relationship with Mike Malone was tenuous. That tells you everything you need to know. That Malone had lost the locker room. Those of us who have supported this team from the beginning when they were in the old ABA and had David Thompson knew this. Not the so-called analysts and fans who are here today and done the next. We have been unhappy with the coach and GM for some time, and so have the players. Since the All-Star Break, there have been rumblings that Malone and lousy Calvin Booth's jobs were on thin ice. Sorry it took this long, but it's about time. Lastly. Everyone keeps focusing on Malone's ten years as a coach here in Denver. The problem was the past two since the championship and a disturbing pattern that was taking place regarding the direction of the team. That's what this is all about.

  18. Stop the nice guy act. Jokic cosigned Malone getting fired. Star players are consulted first before a move like this is made & he endorsed it.

  19. "It's part of the business." It's part of the business for the owners, you're a basketball player, not the owner or businessman. I didn't like that part.
