I know injuries are a big factor but take them away I personally would take AD on my team over Luka any day. Because I am a big believer in defense being the reason

Kinda reminiscent of how the Raptors played stifling defense with an Ibaka + Gasol frontcourt, and versatile wings like Kawhi, Siakam, Green etc.. The bigs could stretch the floor on offense too. Houston really has something special going on there with their bigs. If Sengun ever stretches it out to 3, I'm not sure how you guard their big lineup…

Sengun is a liability both on defense and offense. Lacks size & athleticism, can’t shoot 3s and inefficient with less than 50% fg. He’s lucky he has Adams by his side.
The big lineup can be a problem to all teams in west except maybe lakers due to how they matchup hunt from Luka and LeBron

Thing is, Alpi is almost impossile to stop unles you have AD or giannis defending him. Normally in such a case shooters take the whell normally. As rockets lack elite shooters, they found this method to eleminate doubles on şengün or benefit those doubles. This could work in normal season but they still need an elite shooter who can defend if thay want to have any chance in playoffs.

Been saying for a few years that the first team to go against the current paradigm and have two genuine bigs that dominate down low will change the game back in a good way. Hopefully a team will find the right balance and combination soon.
