As long as the Bucks bench show up, I think Giannis can definitely carry this team to Eastern Conference vs the Celtics. We can definitely beat the Pacers and Cavs. Hoping this is the revenge tour for the Bucks (Pacers & Celtics) into another title(hopium addict)
Iām not going to say itās not impossible. I am going to give my argument through. I have watched all 82 of the Pacers this year even those two games they got hosed and had to travel to Paris. I have been a Pacers fan since 1989 when I was merely 7 years old. These are just my qualifications on my perception.
The Pacers horrible start to the season was a combination of many factors. Halliburton last year played 1/2 of the season on one leg. Had no summer off trained and went to Olympics on one leg came back and trained for 24-25 season with no rest. He also was the star of last years all star game so he had no rest during that time. Further Tyrese pushed himself to get that Supermax money because the NBA is dumb and caused players to play through injury that they shouldnāt. Finally last year was his first year he was without his brother Buddy Hield and first half year with spicy P. Tyrese was just learning how to be the star and leader of a franchise it takes time. All this wore on him as this season started. That is all fact.
Next the Pacers lost two VERY VERY valuable back court pieces in Ijax and James Wiseman. I canāt say what wiseman would have been but there was a lot of hope for him and Ijax was amazing last year and is a great back up big. Those were both gone week 1.
this is the most surface level ball knowledge. Neither. team will destroy the other. Pacers can't stop Giannis but bucks can't stop Tyrese pick and roll.
Bucks have won the season series this year. But people forget the pacers are very good at adjustment. Its going to be an interesting series. Still got pacers in 5.
