Right away her comments about the Magic playing behind due to injuries is off. They were 22 and 18 prior to Banchero and Wagner return. Then they were 19 and 23 with them. So if anything they were in a good spot high in the standings (top 6) and the injuries were at the best possible time if they were to happen all. They then lost their place, but had enough of a lead in order to not fall out of the play-in before getting hot again down the stretch.
