At any given moment, there are about 500 players in the NBA, and only about 300 players with actual rotation minutes. So for example, when people use the phrase “this guy is more athletic than 99% of the league,” that means the guy is one of the top 3 most athletic players in the nba. There are probably fewer than 100 centers in the league that get rotation minutes, so even saying Draymond can guard 99% of Centers means the only center he can’t guard is Jokic. Which might be true, but idk if that’s actually what Paul is trying to say here.
Objective analysis from a fan of the game but not necessarily either team. I think it comes down to the trios, and as nasty as 'Bron, Luka, and Austin Reaves are I'm taking Steph, Jimmy, and Draymond over them. The difference? The team that has the greatest shooter in NBA history can guard the other trio. Luka and AR cannot guard their respective matchups amongst this trio and 'Bron won't be able to overcome it in his 40's.
Butler took Wiggins spot on that chip winning team from 3 years ago, not Klay's. Buddy Hields was supposed to take Klay's spot but he's nowhere close….
