  1. Steph Castle been HIM. Not perfect? Who is. But he’s cooking past rookie expectations and shutting up every hater in real time. Dude’s a DAWG—exactly the grit this squad needs next to Wemby. Y’all said wait for the future? Nah. The future is now. And it wears #5. Stay mad.

  2. Spurs are going to take a HUGE leap next year!! It will be very interesting to see what we do via the draft and trades!! We definitely need to add a big wing or 2 and a 4/5 off the bench!!

  3. It's fair to say that there's a generation that enters the NBA every year that already constitutes an elite in terms of basketball players, apparently a hundred or so. If you're one of the best, let's say in the top 10 or 20, and if after one year the rankings place you as the best, you can't be an average or good basketball player, but a very good one. The rest is just a question of hard work and seriousness. Castle has to lead this team, he's already a boss.

  4. The Spurs have struggled all season vs physical bigs—Zubac, Valanciunas, Embiid, Adebayo, Sabonis, Giannis, Nurkić, Davis, Drummond, Lopez, Love, even vs Sengun, Lively—see the trend? They rank 20th in rebounding (51rpg) and 21st in defensive rating (115.4). Wemby’s doing his part with 11rpg but he's built to roam and disrupt, not take on brute force inside every night. Throw in struggles vs big wings and zone defenses, and it’s clear—this roster lacks the physical presence and structure to compete consistently. Even Tony Parker said Wemby prefers playing next to a guard, not being forced into a full-time center role. The solution: get Wemby help down low. Let him play free. A real center changes everything.
