Look, Nico made a terrible decision trading Luka. But let's be real about this: Did we expect him to come out and say "i made a mistake trading Luka"?
We use the word "disrespectful" a lot in a sort of joking way, but the way the Mavs organization treated and continues to treat Luke is genuinely disrespectful. The way Luka was tearing up during his tribute video in Dallas told the whole story: that man gave his life to the city of Dallas and wanted to spend his entire career there. The way Nico and the Mavs threw him away like yesterday's garbage was disgusting.
