Where Things Went Wrong For The Raptors | Disappointing Season?

The Toronto Raptors have finally put this disappointing season to bed. Sure, they may have hit their projected win total for the season at 30 wins but it felt like the end of the season couldn’t come soon enough. Where are the main reasons behind things going wrong for the team? Can they be rectified for next year?

  1. "TANKING" early in the season, without any valid reason, by Incompetent coaching staffs, had led to one of the Worst & Saddest season by the Raptors! If this remains again next season, the team will lose a lot of followers or believers!!!

  2. If we got the number 1 pick but didn’t develop much this season would we have been in a better position? Would we be talking about playoffs next season or another losing season?

Development was the goal, but we also thought we weren’t going to be as good as we were. So we tanked with guys who did better than expected and had no reason to try and lose for the team. It was in imperfect year, but a successful one nonetheless.

  3. In the beginning of the year, Raps were losing winnable games (some were like 1pt or 2pt differential) with some losses due to really bad coaching decisions. Then the injuries started to pile up and I think that's when they decided to pull the plug.

  4. Injuries and young bench / team put almost everyone over their heads. Real BB and KO showed having them helped team with yes CB to Wins. Only JP RJB OA were playing within a role they could handle 80+% of the year all others some to way below this.

  5. Injuries, a relatively inexperienced roster that lost winnable games early half, and need more talent since Scottie isn’t our number one scoring option – y’all act like this roster was on the cusp of winning the championship but it was Darko and Masai that held them back
