  1. Fans don’t need to come to anymore games till Vivek sells the team what an absolute disgrace this doesn’t change till Vivek is gone and until that happens get ready for purgatory for a very very long time if he leaves then it’s full rebuild time asap but that won’t happen smh depressing and disgusting

  2. Sorry but it’s time to embarrass Vivek at games. “Sell the team” chants. Sell the team shirts. Sure it’s probably not gonna happen but it sure would be funny!!!
Personally I haven’t given Vivek a cent of my money since Vlade screwed up the Doncic draft. Vlade broke my fandom and at times like this I’m perfectly fine with it. I want to see the kings lean hard into their kangz persona. Bring Vlade back. Make Anjali GM or take over ala Jerry Jones. Do it Vivek!!! DO IT!!

  3. Whoever leaves, whoever stays, at this point I don’t even care. The one thing I hope is that they stay in Sac.

  4. This team has inflicted so much pain on us in the last 20 years! The last time I felt they had a real title shot was 04 when the Webber 3 pointer to tie the game rattled in and out against Minnesota. Feels like it's never gonna get better at this point

  5. Vivek needs to sell, bad front office, bad ownership, bad vibes, EXPENSIVE AZZ PRICES… Wow, what a worthless owner.

  6. I told you already couple weeks ago the Kings exit play-in for sure if you don’t believe me come my home to cut my neck because I know the way they play.

  7. This franchise doing a thorough, careful search? Great advice that contradicts Vivek's historical pattern. Vivek will hire his daughter's boyfriend, Jeremy Lamb, to be the new GM. Then, 2 or 3 years later, Vivek will sell the franchise and the Kings will move to Vegas.

  8. This dude spent more time talking about if he’d rather play the Grizz or the Warriors in the second game than breaking down the Mavericks in the last video i watched 😂. Life comes at you fast.

  9. Damn right for everything. But Doug just stick to his main guys way too long and not able to react (when we started to outscored in 2nd Qtr, he should pull Sabonis and put back Devin and Carter). DC did not see how bad Sabonis play, if he saw that, he should pull him out, no matter how much salary he is earning, today is not his game, DC need to be bold and decisive on not playing whom plays bad.

Just a very disappointing way to end. Please trade away Domas

  10. The best thing that ever happened to the Golden State Warriors—Vivek sold his shares and bought the Kings. A tale of two cities, two divergent destinies: one a dynasty and the other a cautionary tale.

  11. Halliburton withdraws anyone? Smh.. fox should’ve been traded before him and Sabonis shouldn’t be on the team. I always said it was slowly going down hill when he was traded.

  12. It doesn't matter what we think, it doesn't matter what the Kings need. None of it matters because this is ALL on Vivek. As long as he is the owner the Kings will not be any different.

  13. I don't know if futureless is true, but I agree. The spiral began when they decided that Mike Brown was the scapegoat for the front office failures.

If I am the GM of the Kings, I am trading as many guys away as possible.

Sabonis, gone. DeRozan, Gone. Monk, Gone.

Tell me that Miami or Charlotte or Denver or Portland wouldn't want these guys.

If I am Vivek, then the first hire I make is to get Larry Bird to come be the new President of Basketball Operations.

I let Larry hire the GM and Head Coach.

I clean house though and change the culture.

Zach Lavine we are stuck with. Deebo, he wants to go back to Toronto, and they have a Center/PF who is a journeyman, but it makes an easy swap to get him to Toronto and us having a Veteran in Kelly Olynyk who could provide some depth with Jonas Valancuanas after trading Sabonis off. I Trade Deebo for big help, Sabonis for Guard help. Monk for a Small Forward.

Sabonis is the key for any future right now. To rebuild, he has to go.

Season 2025-2026 probably will suck. Season 2026-2027 hopefully a little less. My hope, is that if and yes I know it is a massive IF Vivek can let the basketball front office make the decisions, we can get back to seeing Kings playoff Basketball in 2028.

If of course, we still even have a damn country by then or World War 3 hasn't popped off.

My hope, this doesn't happen, 2028 is a damn good year because they have turned this ship around.

What worries me, is Vivek isn't a stupid man. He has a clause to protect his investment in the Kings should it go KANGS bad for 5-8 years of fucking stupid shit more garbage. Something that allows him to move the team if the fans don't attend games type of clauses.

A 3-5 game protest game block, he wouldn't be able to do anything about, but if the 41 regular season games fall below a certain threshold, I bet he has his out to move the team back to Kansas City or San Diego or St. Louis or Pittsburgh or Cincinnati or Louisville the Kings would still have a good Arena, but no team.

For those asking about Seattle, they expect to see the announcement for Las Vegas and Seattle expansion this summer, allowing Minnesota, Memphis or New Orleans to move to the East, of which all 3 teams have an interest in doing so. Especially Minnesota, which is desperate to play more games against teams they can travel quickly to, and less games with teams further and further away.

  14. It's a fire able offense to give Demar a 3 yr, 74 million dollar contract. The team thinks this is movable. Even the Bulls balked his is demand of 40 million a year, that's the day Monte was fired. As I laughed at that pathetic press conference of Monte blowing smoke up the fans arse. Then, equally stupid move of trading for a non-movable Zach Lavine. Who contact might be worst than Balle with the Suns. This team might be a couple of years away from fix it. Like the Suns, there is no point guard to be found. The same problem the Bulls had since Lonzo got hurt and still is.

  15. About time! Firing a coach because he has an unbalanced, too small, backcourt-heavy, offensive -minded, no-defense-playing lineup night after night… ridiculous.

  16. We have been discussing the same issues with the Kings for years now, to mostly no avail, considering the outcome at the end of every season.

Our current roster just does not play "Team" basketball. There are multiple reasons for that, already discussed endlessly.

If I had one thought about the chaos, it would be this, "It all starts from the top and trickles down from there."

If i could see one large change in an upcoming roster, it would be to recruit youth with energy and confidence. Find the kind of players who, miss or make shots, want to take the shot. This means finding players with a winning mentality.

Most importantly, find players who believe in the fundamentals of team basketball as being the #1 most important trait a team can have and build from there.

What I wouldn't give to see the Kings just play the basics, "cut, pass, screen, open man shoots the ball" style of play. Second, I desperately want to get back to "inside / out" basketball. I am so done with trying to mimic the Warriors 3pt style of play, there is only one Steph Curry and unless we are going to start cloning him, this is not a style of play that can be successfully duplicated with any kind of long term success.

Matt, It has been a pleasure this year commiserating with you after each game and you do your job well. I look forward to your continuing coverage for years to come.

  17. I genuinely don’t understand the point of firing our coach, then leaving right after. I want an explanation and I don’t think we’ll ever get one.

  18. I thought Hed be better too and silence all the critics until i was able to watch both the Boston and OKC games.

I usually follow the games online so i was completely surprised at how Sabonis played in those gsmes.

Thats when i began bombarding Him with criticism. He played GREAT against Cleveland against that formidable front line in A game Cleveland REALLY wanted to win.

Thought He played well in both the Detroit and Clippers games too. Zubac isnt a slouch at all.

Then tonight just like the warriors series but ALOT moreso He shrunk. The entire team was playing not to lose except maybe Keon. I actually thought both Him and Carter played well.

Unfortunately A players value is largely determined by what they do in the post sesson. Hes hurt his brand and his trade value and is going to hear it yet once again this offseason too and be voted most overrated.

Hard to feel for him though after He got yet ANOTHER Coach fired and once again shunned all responsibility and blamed A Coach for his shortcomings yet once again.

Domas might end up being better served playing backup on A win now team since He seems to shun that type of responsibility to both the team and the fanbase.

He played like He was on the road tonight. Hes so guarded and insulated and now arrogant that He cant even reap the benefits from A home crowd because Hes not invested in them and plays guarded and insulated.

Every Game is An away Game for Domas. Hes not invested in the fan base at all

  19. The reason I like you and Cyrus from Golden Daze so much is that you are both so passionate about your teams. Keep up the great work Matt.

  20. Sabonis had so many turnovers the first half that by the end of it Demar was playing that super annoying ISO ball and dribbling the shot clock down like hes playing one on one..

This Game was over in the 2nd quarter. Id been shocked if they would have come back. I didnt see any way possible after that first half. I stopped watching 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter. It was completely over
