DeMar DeRozan tallied 33 points and 7 rebounds for the Kings in the loss. The Mavericks advance and will face the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday, April 18th and the winner will clinch the #8 seed in the Western Conference, while the Kings have been eliminated from making the postseason.

If this were five years ago, this team would have had a shot to make it deep in the playoffs. But now, they are in their last leg and will be eliminated in the next round. If I were the Mavs, I would trade AD to a contending team for young players, draft picks, and start rebuilding the team.

That's going to be a problem for teams if the Mavs can sneak in. If they play OKC, he'll get Dort, or Hartenstein at best, and he could have a field day.
But first, they have to get past the Grizzlies, and the Eady-JJJ combo is similar to their system.
