I think a good series for Orlando simply means forcing Boston to change it's game plan. It could be something like locking up the perimeter and forcing midrange shots!

Orlando might get a game. But in the grand scheme of things they can’t shoot with Boston and have almost zero legitimate depth. I think this will be a good series to see how teams will matchup with Bostons playoff lineups. I just don’t see Paolo having a good time or Franz constantly getting switched from Tatum to brown to having to choose whether they want to guard the pick and roll.

If they don’t sweep the magic I’ll be shocked. I can’t think of a playoff opponent in recent years that I didn’t give at least 1 game too. Celtics should not lose a single game to this team, period.
Celtics have been their own worse enemy. Giving up big leads and making bad plays at times when they matter the most but they have to be locked in and get the sweep.

As an old-timer, this Magic team reminds of the early 80's very physical Washington Bullets teams(now Wizards), when Jeff Ruland was healthy and Rick Mahorn was on the team. Johnny Most(RIP), called them 'McFilthy and McNasty'. They were not a great team, but they were very tough and a grind it out type team. They gave The Celts fits(with 92-88 type scores), both in the '82 and '84 playoffs(the year The Celts beat The Lakers). I hope The C's can take care of business early and not let the series go too long!

Okay so I'm a Magic fan and I can tell you that the fans don't realistically expect the Magic to win this series. HOWEVER, you can't get too hung up on "2nd seed vs 7th seed" because Orlando is not really a 7th seed. I think we can all agree that if not for season-ending inuries to Suggs and Mo and over 50 games missed between Paolo and Franz, the team is more of a 3rd to 5th seed quality opponent.

I do think Orlando is probably the toughest matchup for us out of the east play-in teams but we will still handle business. Their defense is very good, but ours is also good and our offense is very good while theirs is terrible. If they have a game where a few guys get hot from three and they play their normal great defense, they can win that game, but it won’t happen multiple times. I’m going Celtics in 5 in this one, but depending on how both teams shoot it could be 4 or 6. But the magic will not win this series barring divine intervention

I have been a Magic Fan since 1989! I fully concur with the Celtic fans that they have a deeper and better team especially being defending champions but if we didn’t learn at least 1 thing from the Cavs series last is that the Magic are serious about winning now and not partially waiting until they have more experience!🤔
Magic are 6-4 against Boston in the last 3 seasons. Celtic fans shouldn’t dismiss them.

I don’t think the magic can win this series, but I am also a little nervous that someone on the Celtics could get hurt based on the way the magic play and the fact that Jaylin is already going to be playing at around 80% and KP is very injury prone. I heard the guy saying they’re going to hit you. They’re gonna muck it up which is fine but I feel like that does not really work in KP favor or JB with his current physical status
