Day Ron needs to sign he is a key backup centre – we need to move of clax unfortunately
NETS TOTALLY BOTCHED their lottery slot this year! NO EXCUSES!! They should have had a top 3/4 lottery slot! with the Tanking Jazz,Wiz,and Hornets
If the NETS don't get LUCKY in the lottery …then get ready for pick 7 or 8…because that's what's probably going to happen…WHOOPPIE DO!!! This draft has always been about having a real shot at the 1 or 2 pick…at 7 or 8… a major drop off from the top 2/3 STUDS!!! Maluach,Queen….EL JOKO!!! ZERO EXCITEMENT…..What a frustrating not so tank enough year!!! So now what guys…we goin to tank again..we clearly have the formula…LOL!!!

Finding out where the nets first pick is is critical to really understanding what direction they go with free agents. For instance, if they happen to get the second pick which I’m really hoping for and they draft Dylan Harper, then there are questions about whether you should give a guy like Cam Thomas a big-time contract. If you end up drafting Malach At center you don’t need sharp and you might even think about trading Claxton. If you draft Tre Johnson do you need cam Johnson?
So who the Nets draft with that first pick Is important. I really really hope we get Dylan Harper

When have the nets ever given any inkling that they were confused about who the starting center should be? Over the past few seasons???
You also didn't bring up that Claxton played the entire season with a back injury, but whatever…right.

Day'Ron is too injury prone to be a starter. I would resign him (Nets have a ton of cap space this summer) and keep him as a backup. He could be a temporary starter next season if Claxton gets traded and one of the Nets draft picks is a center. At the next trade deadline/next summer I would trade him to get something for him (draft capital).
It's very simple. Ask yourself honestly if the Nets went on a road trip to Chicago (Vuc), Milwaukee (Giannis and Brooke), Minnesota (Rudy), Denver (Joker), Sacramento (Sabonis) and LA (Zubac, AD at the time) with Sharpe as the starter? How would he do? And would he lose his starting role because of how he faired? When you answer this question, keep in mind that "skinny" Claxton has done this three times already.
Better keep dayron a mistake to let him go!!

We have to see who they draft..Clax has played his way out of Brooklyn, Sharpe is 50/50 to me..He is out of shape and often hurt..Drew Timme out played them both..
