Colin Cowherd’s BOLD NBA Playoff predictions for Lakers-Timberwolves, Warriors-Rockets | THE HERD

Colin Cowherd makes bold predictions for the NBA Playoffs for the series between Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets vs. Kawhi Leonard’s Los Angles Clippers, Steph Curry’s Golden State Warriors against the Houston Rockets, the Detroit Pistons vs. New York Knicks, and LeBron James and Luka Doncic’s Los Angeles Lakers vs. Anthony Edwards’ Minnesota Timberwolves.

  1. My bold prediction is that OKC is not only going to win a championship but will not even play in a game 7 on the way to doing so. I really don't think the media and fans are understanding what OKC did this year and they did it with a ton of injuries to key players. For the first time all year their entire roster is healthy. Nobody is beating the Thunder.

  2. Minnesota is inconsistent, they will run off 5-6 wins in a row, then lose a game they should have won. I haven't heard anyone take the Wolves that hasn't consistently watched them. People that have watched them are giving them a chance. 17-4 last 21 games isn't that inconsistent.

  3. The thought that Twolves’ defense will give up more easy looks than the Lakers’ shows how much Colin knows about the wolves. Since the trade the wolves have outperformed the Lakers in almost every efficiency rating. Their biggest Achilles heel is their inconsistency.

  4. Another bold prediction, huh…well, Colin's last bold prediction (march Madness) kind of flamed out spectacularly. It was so good, Colin went and hid for a week, and hasn't mentioned the name, Cooper Flagg, since…

  5. The Pistons are 3-1 against the Pistons in 2024-25

Pistons in 6, but if it goes 7, it will be a toss up – with the New York Knicks have a slight advantage because they will be at home
