You assume that the "greatest basketball minds" aren't smart enough to steer clear of Sacramento. Who actually wants to be here? They literally consider Sacramento "basketball hell" around the league.

Definitely consistent! Not in a good way.
Sacramento was considered the Siberia of the NBA back then. It has re-entered that territory again. This franchise is absolutely horrible. People in the league will remember how Mike Brown was fired and the fashion he terminated. Things like that leaves a bad image on anyone thinking about joining the organization.
Because of how quick this happened, clearly this was already in the works
