What’s Next For The Chicago Bulls?
The Chicago Bulls season is over, another year of being stuck in the middle, the exact same record as last year with 39 wins, and a roster full of confusing players and decisions.
BUT… I am actually intrigued by the future of the Bulls. Obviously they don’t have any top end talent on the roster nor do they have a high draft pick but – I don’t think the future is all that bleak in Chicago including Matas Buzelis, Josh Giddey, and Coby White.

Keep Giddey and buzelis. Hear me out for Giddey he is great offensively but he is a hard worker one of the reasons why he has been getting better is cause of his hard work I think he can improve and be an all star all the bulls need to do is bring 3 and d players to support him players that Giddey can find in the corner and players that can support him on the defence. Bring in a good heavily defensive minded big man and I think the bulls get out of the play in buezelis is young and so far been good so keep him. As for Coby bro doesn’t try hard in big games he really hasn’t improved that much from last season and really this is his celling.
We have a good future. The only thing holding us back is Jerry Reinsdorf
The only bad take from this is the fans wanting to bottom out…. I’m sure bulls fans don’t want to be really bad no matter what the top side is 😂😂

As a Bulls fan I definitely would trade Coby. He is a good shooter, a good offensive player, I think he would fit perfectly into a team like the Magic, but it all comes down to what the Bulls would get in return.
He is a player who's averaging 20,4ppg, 4,5apg, 45,3 FG%, 37,0 3PT%, in 33,1mpg playing in a bad team.
I don't think the Bulls can get a 1st rd pick for him, but this definitely would be my main goal if I was Bulls manager.
I used the Magic as an example because they are desperate for shooters, they have some of the worst shooting stats for a playoff team, I would definitely explore that.
People are too obsessed with being contenders. It's fine if the Bulls are trying to commit to the growth of some young guys and being bottom to middle of the pack over the next couple years and seeing what happens.
Another year people understand the bulls owner is the worst owner in all of sports and got lucky with Jordan.
This is a game they should’ve lost. Half of their players are injured or banged up and they gain nothing from getting first rounded over being in the lottery.

I've been saying this for a long time, they should sell high on White. He's on an amazing deal and is still kinda young, they shouldn't make the same mistake the jazz made with Lauri.

I know buzelis isnt a high draft pick but lets not forget dude was in talks to go number 1 before the g league season started. Dude was a consistent jumper away from going 1 that year
Also, even during the draft, it was kinda assumed that he would be boom or bust, and if he hit, it would be a home run.
Philly being a train wreck ruined the expectations of the Bulls being a lottery pick. But there is some good in the team at least
Don't sleep on the fact that there are some teams with too many assets, who cannot pay all of their guys. Restricted Free Agency will start becoming an issue for OKC and maybe a few others in the near future based on the new CBA and salary cap restrictions. I really like the team going younger, without needing to go back into the tank. Coby White is at worst a really good 6th man/bench scorer who has starting caliber guard potential. Giddey is good if he can learn to shoot consistently. Buzelis is promisiong and Ayo is solid. Their cap flexibility will be a big point of difference compared to much of the league over the next 1-2 years.
If I was Giddey I would be praying that the Bulls don’t match the Nets. Giddey is going to be a Star he’s 22yo.

Rebuild, trade up in the draft(draft Dylan Harper), trade everyone especially Vuc, keep Matas, Coby, and Giddey, tank again, draft Cam Boozer, etc.

The idea that Buzelis is going to be a #1 option on a contender is the exact reason why the bulls are in this situation in the first place. Until we can get a top 3 pick with high upside I have zero interest in keeping anyone other than Matas.
