Rich Paul Explained Why Phoenix Suns “Big 3” FAILED With Bradley Beal
It’s obvious, the Bradley Beal experiment with Devin Booker and Kevin Durant was a failure, but why? Rich Paul spoke on why the Miami Heat were a perfect example of how that dynamic could work, highlighting Chris Bosh’s lack of ego in pairing with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. Erik Ruby breaks down how these two situations could not be further from each other, and how Beal being put in a tough situation by the team and Mike Budenhozler, was still his fault. Ima have to run some stats and get back to you on this take…
I'm a Denver fan but Beal is a loser-he can't carry Dreu Holidays jock. He was a selfish, washed up,has been for you guys -whos a superstar only in his own mind. And ya-you can't compare him to a professional, team 1st Champion like Chris Bosh. Beal is a guy who'd rather average 24 for a 24 win team than win a title.
To see him laughing when his team was getting beat by 50 is that dude in a microcosm. Poster boy of empty, hollow stats,& "somebody has to put up some numbers cuz no NBA team-even the worst-is gonna only average 60pts per game or something."
All the hate towards Beal is misdirected, blame the dipshit decision made by the franchise to take on Beal's contract, it's almost like this could have all been avoided
Ahhh lol…. I understand it now haha.. this video finally made it click for me. The phoenix suns are trying to make beal as uncomfortable as possible so he'll waive that no trade clause. He did everything he was asked to do and you admitted he did all the right things. He took far less shots than Durant and booker, he took the assignments of guarding some of the best wing players, he even came off the bench and didnt fuss about it to the media. Yet he still was not a true professional as Bosh was cuz why? Cuz he won't waive his no trade clause lmaooo. I'm not mad at that, but dont hate him, hate the owner for the trade…. But I guess for PHNX podcast to get a real partnership going with the Suns franchise yall are gonna have to help The Suns get beal out.. I can dig it
I'm not upset with Beal at all. He has a No-Trade clause and acting like a player who's gonna get paid over $100 million by the Suns regardless if he plays good or bad.
I blame the Suns owner and management for being stupid enough to trade for Beal.
Beal is not the fault the Sun's STUNK this season. The blame goes on all of them for not having any team spirit or real leadership…Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, not leadership caliber either.
Durant now part of two Big Three failures in Brooklyn and Phoenix…
Beal like Westbrook is a Fast Break Player. Durant makes them slow
Love Suns chat, great show!
Beal's attitude and approach didn't help. He should have humbled himself like Chris Bosh did with Miami for the benefit of the team. Coach asked him to be more of a two way player and not focus on stat padding and being selfish. Coach Bud was 100% correct.
What everyone skips over is he bought in with Vogel last year. Team was worse talent wise but was more bought in. Dont put this season on Brad not being bought in. No one was bought in. Book played no defense kd played when he wanted to. Beal was the point of attack defender last year. So what are we talking about
A KD lead team is never winning a championship. You need to have a player paired with him, who’s an alpha. KD is not a culture setter, he doesn’t make players better. He care more about his own game and stats.
Book lost his mamba mentality pairing up with KD. KD should’ve deferred to Book.
Bud rotations were terrible. They need better defenders and length. Beal should’ve been a bench player.
The fact we gave him 2 whole seasons is completely unacceptable
Dude, yeah he chose to be here, but the Suns chose for HIM to be here also.
What, do you think Beal wasn’t trying? What evidence do you have for that? He just isn’t that guy. He thought he was, the Suns thought he was, but it didn’t work out. Why are you blaming him like he did something wrong?
There were plenty of times I felt that Beal guarded better & hustled more than Book and Durant. There were other times when given less minutes he outscored them. His injuries were my biggest beef, and I feel as a whole the NBA is babied. Wilt Chamberlain played in the finals with a broken arm. Beal was out for a sore pinkie toe. This goes on with other players, but Beal is paid enough to play with sore toes. Teen girls play through injuries. Beal's "smile" attitude was taken out of context I think. He does try to be positive and I dont think he was smiling at his trade clause. But he's glad he doesnt have to uproot his kids every year. That's all. Nice guy, too many sore toes.
