I read DeMar's book, and after having the opportunity to see him play for us this year, he has become my all time favorite player in the association. I don't know if the players read this stuff, but I have so much respect for DeMar not only as one of the greatest players ever in the game, but more importantly as a regular person. None of us are perfect, and sometimes famous people are elevated and idolized for all the wrong reasons. Reading his book I identified with so much of it. I lost my mom during Covid, and reading about how he lost his dad during that time; I can relate. Appreciate he came to Sac, and wish him all the best going forward.

Demar really said id rather play in Sacramento than go home and play with lebron and Luka. Most LA players grew up lakers fans but theyve always been weird when it came down to joining the lakers. The only one i remember that fully embraced it was Spencer Dinwiddie
