  1. Looking at this trade it felt like the time in OKC traded James Harden to Houston. He was their sixth man but clearly needed space to bloom into the generational scorer that he is. Chicago took advantage of a buy low situation as Giddey's off court antics put him in some trouble and got themselves a gem for the future. Pairing him with Matas Buzelis has been inspiring to watch as they are truly looking like the future of the NBA and the Chicago Bulls. Moving on from Lavine and DeRozan hurt at the front but this addition by subtraction is a key theme thats been working in the NBA lately. Just look at Clippers, subtract PG and your somehow doing better. Thunder got what they needed for defence and tenacity in Alex Caruso. Giddey just has a much higher ceiling and if he can manage his offcourt issues, he will be a complete steal for the Chicago Bulls.

  2. can you imagine if the bulls just traded Lavine during the off season, There's a Big Possibility that Josh Giddey & Coby White could have a season average right now of.

    Josh Giddey
    22 pts, 12 reb, 11 ast, 2 stl, 1 blk.

    Coby White
    27 pts, 3 rebs, 4 ast, 3.5 3PT made.

  3. Wtf Lavine and DeRozan is not on bulls anymore LOL this video is misleading. DeRozan already got traded last offseason and Lavine got traded last trade deadline.

  4. Think about what it must be like coming to the bulls when fans are mad about who they traded for you.

Now Giddey is a fan favorite and earned every bit of it.

  5. The amount of hate the s trade got in the beginning was absolutely mystifying.
OKC fans swore they robbed the Bulls, and Bulls fans swore Caruso was worth some picks on top of Giddey simply because OKC had picks to spare.

  6. Okc did hard yards to get Giddey to Chicago… yep they got Caruso.

    Who used to coach OKC?
    Billy Donovan.
    What’s Donovan’s strength?
    Fundamental basketball, player development
What was Giddey’s major weakness? (its not shooting %)
-Decision making on spot shooting, spacing, defense, using his size to get to the rim…

What’s he doing post Allstar Break…
    Every single thing listed above.
Billy Donovan finally has the cattle to build a young team into a winning team.

  7. I was never one that hated Giddey coming to Chicago. I remember Josh was talked about as being a draft target of the Bulls when he was ready for the NBA. I was in the camp though that felt we should a got a draft pick from OKC also.

  8. Am I the only one who noticed Lavine and DeRozan being mentioned as if they were still playing for the Bulls? And this video was uploaded 3 days ago as of this writing.

  9. History repeats itself
Yes I will compare giddey to James harden cause that’s what OKC just did
They used giddey like they used harden now giddey will win mvp and bulls will be a consistent playoff team
