REKAP: 🏀 Chicago Bulls 109-90 loss to Miami Heat. ‘Worst front office in history of Chicago sports!’
What an embarrassing effort after finishing the season 17-13 in the last 30 games to qualify and host an #nbaplayintournament game. The #bulls never led in a blowout loss to the #miamiheat. #tylerherro had 38 points and the #heat did whatever they wanted to, especially in the 1st half after scoring 71 points. #joshgiddey led the Bulls with 25 points and 10 rebounds and #nikolavucevic had a double double in the losing effort.
But, this is about the process and the optics. #kap sounds off on the front office, calling them ‘the worst front office in Chicago sports in my lifetime.’ Bold statement. But, after failing to prepare for a draft that includes top talent like #cooperflagg and others, the Bulls opted for the usual, mediocrity, and it’s infuriating.
Another Bulls season comes and goes without a playoff series, and they don’t seem to care one bit.

Remember when Kap was defending Williams? Kap was a NBA scout at one time. Anyone with a little bit of Basketball knowledge could see Williams was not worthy of being picked that high and to pay him like they did says it all about the front office.

This front office makes Gar & Pax look like geniuses. Sell the team already Jerry and ride off into the sunset. When will the Williams experiment come to an end? There’s no retooling here. A total tear down is needed, again. This is getting old real quick
Kap: Talk about ineffective front offices in Chicago sports history, you were not around at the time of Jimmy Gallagher and Wid Matthews of the Cubs in the late 40's and 50's.
There's losing. There's getting embarrassed. And then there's getting embarrassed in a do-or-die situation.
Yes it's on the players to recognize and realize that the schemes/plays they were running weren't working, and to adjust on the fly. But above all else, coaching staff should've recognized it immediately, emphatically point this out to the team, and draw up better plays/adjustments.
Even though Miami got swept by the Bulls this past season, Spoelstra realized that this game was THE most important one up to this point, and out coached the ever living hell out of Donovan.
The front office (hopefully a new front office) needs to get on the phone with either Jenkins or Malone like yesterday.

As a Chicago Bulls fan, I'm tired of what this organization has become…
To be fair, I said the 2024-2025 NBA season was over for the Chicago Bulls as soon as a tip-off in their first game took place back in the fall of 2024 because I knew we weren't gonna go anywhere–as expected.
The problem with tanking to get draft choices is you begin to develop a losing mentality which pervades the organization. You should always try to win. They won 15 or their last 20 games, against some good teams, with mostly really young players. The emergence of the Giddey/White backcourt has been fun to watch. They will do better next year.
