  1. Here is your answer: Jayson Tatum is a star who lacks stardom. Period. We forget the NBA is also theater: are you not entertained? He will be Tim Duncan – that’s where he’s headed which is fine. But no one cares if he drops 45 or 50 honestly in fact Boston who is dominate and should win again this year are overwhelmingly underwhelming – the most polarizing personality on the team is the coach. They are a boring championship team – talented and an incredible ball club but forgettable. No personality as far as the “theater of basketball” – Iverson / Kobe / Curry / Bron / Green / Luka etc. they understand the theater aspect to the game.

  2. Just typical espn. Disrespect players on a regular basis then play dumb acting like they don’t push every single narrative. Remember we pay there bills by tuning into these slop shows

  3. Boston will kill OKC ,I understand sga is a good player, but best out of 7 against Tatum and Boston ,OKC has no chance, don't even have the depth 💯

  4. In Boston we recognize him as one of our greats. I talk to younger fans and they constantly talk about his lack of aura. It’s good he’s a basketball player and not an auraball player, then.

  5. Windy is being so disingenuous it’s laughable. While yes the Celtics were the betting favorites last year, media members on ESPN, FOX, and others outlets were picking other west coast teams to beat them in the finals. They said the Celtics had an easier run because every matchup they had were missing key players at some point in the series and said they had an easier or softer run to the finals. Meanwhile, Dallas couldn’t stop getting all the love because they beat 3 50-win teams and they had a harder path and therefore are a better team due to the success of their opponents and all of that was being said WHILE the Celtics were getting all these accolades so the narrative that could be perceived was that no matter how good the players the Celtics have individually and how dominant they had been in the regular season and post season, they couldn’t win the championship against a late start Dallas team simply by virtue of their opponents that they beat. This ain’t even addressing the disrespect that Tatum has encountered over his ENTIRE career

  6. Wait, isn’t it the media themselves who are actually “disrespecting” JT? Ask the players around the league and they don’t speak such things. 🥴

  7. Jason Tatum just doesn't have aura and is a little cringe which is why he gets trolled , but he's an all time player nobody ever denies that.

  8. Windy is either purposely being an ESPN company man here or he is really has awful takes.

Completely missing the point that it’s been YOU and YOUR company and the rest of the media that have raised up other players above him and constantly going “ehhhhh he’s not that good”.

Your “evidence”…is proving our point even further. The entire world, the bettors, the fans, EVRYONE ELSE SEES HE IS ELITE AND ONE OF THE BEST IN THE LEAGUE. But YOU guys constantly pretend he just isn’t there yet.

It’s like watching a political debate and you’re absolutely missing the point.

  9. Windy is hilarious. He once made a statement on why JT couldn't win an MVP in 22/23 season. His point was, Tatum can't be a front-runner because he did not perform in the 21/22 NBA finals. Yet we have him salivating over SGA who has only won one round in his entire playoff career. Same with Anthony Edwards. That is the disrespect we speak of.

  10. Popularity and recognition is 2 different things. Why is a so called sport show always talking popularity🤦🏾

  11. Jayson Tatum is definitely a superstar but also has always had a great team around him to help and boost him as well as he has never celitified himself as the best player on the team when it matters most.. I agree he’s a superstar but he’s not disrespected ARGUE W YA MOMMA

  12. First they said AntMan was better than JT, then they said JT is only good bc of the team he’s on, Every analyst chose Dallas to beat Boston in the finals last year, then they sat here and said Tatum “didn’t look happy” that JB won Finals MVP over him, please spare me the nonsense with yall amnesia

  13. As a Lakers fan, I'm so pissed Magic Johnson chose Lonzo Ball over Jayson Tatum in the 2017 NBA Draft.

  14. The disbelief in Boston was so much that every opponent chanted “we want Boston” . If you look back at the TNT and ESPN crews, they had Pacers and Mavs over the Celtics overall …. They barely talk about the C’s this season being the third team in wins, I’m tired of Denver, Lakers, Knicks and and Warriors being loved so much more than the defending champs. This is bananas. I understand why they don’t talk about Tatum because he is the Timmy D of our era, elite hooper, silent dude, no problems surrounding him.

  15. If you’re telling me you can’t play Tatum in the Olympics because it’s “competitive”…… after he just won the NBA finals like he’s the worst player there…. You are from a different planet than me. Kerr is a clown and doesn’t like the Celtics which is fine but politics on Olympic teams is petty and classless….. THAT is where the disrespect is.
