We had a PG that did all of that lol. Didn’t complain about playing off ball and having a lower usage in favor of Domas running things. Shame

What I don't understand is that Monte was your general manager and your franchise player Fox told you not to fire Mike Brown if you expect me to sign an extension. According to reports, Monte didn't want to fire Brown, but we still did, and then we were somehow surprised that Fox didn't want to sign an extension with us and seek a trade. What is going to be different with Perry? Will he be able to select his next coach and determine the direction the franchise will take? Which should be full rebuild mode. I don't think it matters who the Gm is if they don't have full control and Vivek is behind the scenes making the moves he feels are correct.

The funny thing is a pair like Deuce and Mo could do a great job for the Kings. Why? Because fans see a lot more than head offices realises. Our finger is on the pulse more than any GM in a corporate bubble.
If DeRozen was willing to come off the bench, like Malik Beasley, it would have gone better for his %s and wouldn’t shoot us out of countless games.
With Vivek the past few seasons, I gotta say, he has been conspicuously inconspicuous. Even with this hire, Vivek has probably got it right.
people have to stop listening to Amick. He's a mouthpiece for recently fired GMs and HCs. Of course everything he reports is biased and likely complete b.s. If Vivek was going to move on from McNair no matter what he wouldn't have let him be in charge of trading Fox. He wanted to win and empowered his GM to do what he felt necessary. After the trade it was pretty obvious that didn't change things and we weren't winning so of course the owner is pissed and ready to move on so he courts Scott Perry. The fast hire is because so much needs to be done and getting in a guy to hit the ground running for the draft, FA and trades is imperative.

Listened to the first little bit of the Spears segment before fast forwarding. I find that guy hard to listen to, and good grief being on a cell phone is no excuse to constantly interrupt the interviewer. Btw eat a salad…smh lol.

Doesn't matter who the GM is. As long as Vivek is the owner this cycle wouldn't stop. Guy just loves to meddle and when things go south, blames the GM and fires him right away. You won't see that in other stable organizations such as the Heat, Spurs and Thunder

With what we went through this season im have to see some success before i can be optimistic again. If we look at our track record thats what makes me worried. And i need to know viviek his daughter and jermay lamb has no say in basketball operations for me to support this team again. Cant wait another 16 years for a playoff birth. Hopefully perry has some balls and fight against what he doesnt believe unlike monte just to end up being fall guy.
