I speak from experience as a Vikings fan still reeling from the Hershal Walker trade. There is no moving on, there is only moving with.

By the end of that game A.D was having both legs worked on and had problems with his abdomen again. He is not a #1 option probably a good #2 He takes way to many outside shots and is afraid to dunk it and his defense is overrated
Get AD a PNR partner, everything else will fall into it's place.
I think all the players KNOW it was a messed up scenario. They just can't say it, but it's in their responses. When contracts expire, each one will make a move to do what's best for them. I would be surprised if anybody stays.

The Mavs can trade AD if they want. I'm sure he won't miss the ungrateful fans. A lot of Mavs fans don't appreciate what they have. Cuban knew the type of owners he was selling to. They crunched the numbers, and like with PG-13 and Butler, they didn’t think Luka was worth it. Nico wanted to avoid the drama of Luka forcing his way out and tried to keep the roster competitive by trading for AD and Max.
Hilariously, the team that could really use Klay right now is…the Warriors! (Buddy Hield ain’t it.) Just like mid-30s Wade and the Heat divorcing in a huff and sheepishly ending up back together less than a year later.
AD is easy to like, easy to root for and under any of circumstance Mavs fans would go crazy for him. Thanks Nico. You throw away our king and drag your hand picked stars name through the mud, while making sure he gets hurt in his first game. Made him come back early, didn’t put him on a minutes restriction, nothing. This team is a joke outside of the players, they just work here.

They collective fan base does boo the whole organization- just the majority doesn’t show up for a game – the 20k at the arena is what less that 1% of a 2million fan base – so yes the majority over 1million does rag on whole team whole “band” from AD- to JKidd to the rest

I still don't get how people think fans chanting "Fire Nico" during the quiet period of a home teams free throw shooting is somehow something to hate because the player didn't deserve it. Um had nothing to do with the player at all.
If David Copperfield asks for quiet for his magic trick and in walks Putin and there are boos. They aren't booing Copperfield even if he is the very(and only) reason they are there.
