The game would end in regular time if Russ passed the ball to AG who was alone and ready to dunk
MPJ has his worst night of the season as a scorer and the Nuggets pulled out the win. Now based on his minutes Russ had the starter's share and his stats showed that. If MPJ was giving you the shot blocking his 6'10" lanky frame and athleticism should make possible that would be a different conversation. Right now… he may be coming off the bench in some series. Honestly, in this one… it is tempting to have PWat start at the 3 and Russ at the PG to really amp their defense for the first quarter to slow Harden and/or Kawhi down. Then once they're a bit less fresh you bring in Murray to 'flurry' and drop 30 in 3 quarters on them.
