  1. Thanks Leif. I'm for sending Cody to the G League until about December next season. That's after spending a couple of months in the weight room, working on shooting mechanics and seeing a performance coach for the psychological part of his game that has no doubt taken a bruising this year. I'm sure the dietitians already have him scoped in. What the team saw in him to spend a #10 selection less than 1 year ago is still there. Keep investing, there's nothing to lose at this point, only potential upside.

  2. Cody is Dangerously close to being out of the League. I'm rooting for the Young Man. At least 20lbs, Heavier to start the Season should be the #1 goal.

  3. Flip needs to take a page from Olynyk and play a ton of 1 on 1. This will help with Ball Handling skills, which should be his #1 priority.

  4. Cody is a bust. Locke kept focuing on Flip and other "wins" to avoid telling bad about the organization he works. Ainge made his 1st huge mistake with Cody Williams. Its like KOC drafting Enes Kanter. Huge mistake.

  5. Cody needs to grow some balls, his first action when he gets on the floor should be to set a pick and take a fellow out, he needs to mix it up. I am amazed how a player can come into the NBA with No backspin on his shot? Just lay on your couch and spin the ball off your fingers and try to just skim the ceiling. He should spend an hour or two per day doing this.

  6. JoJO Tugler with one of the 2nds best defender in the draft, and such a unique skill set, One of a kind, do a deep dive on him. If all he ever does is be a maniac on the D, worth keeping on the bench.

  7. Not a rookie issue, but with Joe Dumars, NOP might be looking to get off Zion. If the Jazz could pick him up for less than Laurie — with a good draft pick — the Jazz could become an instant contender without breaking the bank, although the Jazz would probably have to give up Laurie or John Collins, unless they happen to win Flagg and are willing to give him up.

  8. Of the guys that you mentioned for 21 my favorites are Carter Bryant, Ben Saraf and Labaron Philon in terms of my overall board. For the Jazz specifically I like Carter Bryant and Rasheer Fleming.

But I think that it's more likely than not that we trade that pick. We already have so many young guys.

If we keep it I wonder if the Jazz consider going with a guy they feel can make more of an instant impact (that doesn't necessarily mean an older prospect). They have so many developmental types. Adding more could result in Will Hardy pulling his hair out.
