  1. Still confident. It's a marathon not a race, buuutttt if doc doesn't change his starting line up, then the Bucks will be going fishing sooner than later

  2. Kuzma is a disaster and disrupts the offense and gets complacent on defense. Get him out of the starting rotation. It is not a fluke that the bucks are in LAST place in the nba in net rating with kuzma on the floor. And they're in the top 10 when hes on the bench….I mean come on now. Kuzma should only be playing 5 minutes at a time to just give someone a break.

  3. Simple the starting lineup needs to play better! Swapout TP for Green and reduce the starter minutes to bench minutes.

  4. There's a few adjustments. Stop helping. Stay with you defender.
Giannis is due for a 80-100% fg game😂. Our starters need to average double digits or get stops. Just the defensive awearness.

  5. Starters should’ve been:

    PG: [Kevin or Ryan]
    SG: [Green or Gary]
    SF: [Prince or Gary]
    PF: Giannis
    C: Brook

    Closers should’ve been:

    PG: Kevin
    SG: Green
    SF: Gary
    PF: [Bobby or Prince]
    C: Giannis

Once Lillard returns the starters should be:

    PG: Dame
    SG: [Green or Gary]
    SF: [Prince or Gary]
    PF: Giannis
    C: Brook

    Closers should be:

    PG: [Dame or Kevin]
SG: [Green or Dame or Gary]
    SF: [Gary or Prince]
    PF: [Bobby or Prince]
    C: Giannis

    PG: DL, KPJ, RR
SG: AJG, GTJ, DL, TP, RR
SF: TP, GTJ, PC, KK, AJJ
    PF: GA, BP, KK, TP
    C: BL, GA, JS, BP

    DL: 0-30 min
    KPJ: 10-25 min
    RR: 10-25 min
    AJG: 25-30 min
    GTJ: 30-35 min
    TP: 25-30 min
    PC: 0-10 min
    KK: 0-20 min
    AJJ: 0-10 min
    GA: 35-40 min
    BP: 25-30 min
    BL: 20-25 min
    JS: 0-15 min

I think the Bucks need to lean into their roster depth in the playoffs instead of necessarily shortening the rotation into a clear 8-9 man rotation. They’ve got to be willing to rotate in and out different defensive-minded guys (KK, JS, & AJJ) based on matchup and situation; plus, how they pair with those on the court.

Any time Giannis rests and Kuz isn’t in put Sims on the court. In my opinion, that should be a bare minimum for him. The big question becomes who’s a better on-court play in minutes Giannis rests: a lineup that includes Kuz or Sims?

With Giannis on the court, the question then becomes who’s the better big to play alongside him based on matchup and hot hand?

Brook #1 as long as he’s not continuously being exposed on D. Look to take advantage of his size on O. He spaces the court, lessens the physical toll on Giannis, and boxes out helping team rebounding.

Bobby #2 as long as he also isn’t continuously exposed on D. He’s less exposable than Brook, but he doesn’t offer Brook’s or Sim’s rim protection. Similar to Brook, he spaces the court and lessens the physical toll on Giannis. A more capable usage guy which can be helpful when Giannis rests.

Worth noting: Brook & Bobby can fairly equally be paired with Sims or Kuz in non-Giannis lineups.

Kuzma #3 primarily for his defensive versatility and ability to play big at SF. His outside shot-making threat level at least requires some minimal D respect which is better than Sims. I’d have him look to do backdoor basket cuts from the corner 3 locations and park himself in the dunker spot at times too.

Sims hopefully sees the court whenever Giannis rests because his size, athleticism, and rim protection help replace Giannis defensively as he’s a similarly versatile big on D. On O, they’ve got to keep him in the action by using him as a screener and roller. Avoid or limit too much minute overlap with Kuz & Giannis. Can’t have non-shooting threats allowing the Pacers to rotate off of their man to provide help defense.

There may even be opportunities for Ajax to see limited minutes too in specific scenarios.

Lastly, the team needs to move the ball. For the love of god, less ISO heavy offensive sets.

  6. I'll also throw out that in 2019 in the second round the Bucks got rocked by the Celtics in game 1. The bucks then went on to finish the series in a gentleman's sweep. We got work to do, but it's not over.

  7. We had 13 contested shots and the pacers 12. We made ONE and the pacers 8!!!! Why? Because they came in with tons of energy to contest. Look at our guys, almost asleep 🤦‍♂️

  8. not confiident until they DNP Brook for the series he is too much of a liability at this point play GA at the 5 rotate with Sims and PF bobby and Kuzma and maybe TP but find a waway to not play Brook and Dame wont help alot

  9. I believe we can still win this series, but what about the coach? If he continues to coach like he did the 1st game, we might be cooked!!!!!

  10. Why does it take doc and Darvin till the last round to make these dumb comebacks? Why can't you just have a good gameplan so you can to start off strong and stay strong… oh wait that's right we have those two as our coaching staff. We might be cooked but I'm staying hopeful.

  11. Like I said ever podcast 😂 if Brook Lopez on the floor more than 15 minutes a game we will loose. Our team doesn’t practice post play. He can’t post and we don’t runs plays to post him. He is absolutely no good in this series. I would play Jackson jr. and Sims before Brook.

  12. Preaching to the choir but Glenn rivers don't have his hearing aids in. Why is it so hard to make adjustments in real time. Especially how often we play them. Kuz scoring zero point is atrocious but he just needs to be in better positions. Which is on Glenn. Constant movement and cutting.
