That 3rd quarter was a killer. Really bad defense, passing was bad, and not able to knockdown easy shots and get and 1s. It is what it is. This is a young team. I'd really like to see DA be more dominant. He's inconsistent
The game was manageable and winnable if you can coach. Chauncy you donโt have what it takes to be a NBA coach. You have got to accept the reality. Just leave. The Blazers will be underachieving this season because of you.

So the strategy is accumulate high draft picks in three consecutive seasons, but then deliberately hinder these players development (shaedon, cling and scoot) by limiting their minutes, sitting them intentionally to lose late season games and or jerking them around from different roles like scoot has been for the duration of his career…all the while getting coached by a numbskull like Billups…so they can have a SHOT at another high draft pick??? What happens when that pick/strategy flops and you now have three young players severely behind the curve..๐คฆ๐คฆ

Is OKC a more talented team? Yes of course but the blazers consistently come out of halftime unprepared going back to Billups first year. Theyโre a young team that needs to be pointed out their mistakes instead of acting like a good/great team clamping them down is some random act of god, and the only time he is fiery is when a call doesnโt go their way. He needs to light that fire under the team going into the third.

No, Chauncy, rebounding is not 'to not look at the ball and hit your guy'… Geez.
It's proper positioning so the defender can triangulate – ie, keep the shooter, the ball and potential rebounders all in a defuse field of vision… then you can position and time any box-out to limit the offensive rebounder's angle and to take away their jump just as you grab the rebound…or, simply cut past the offensive player, timing a clear path.
Details, man. There's a lack of discipline and work on fine details.

This is a talented team that is trained very badly, it can't be that most of the attacks have one pass at best, it can't be that there is no movement, everyone stands and looks at the player with the ball and no natives open a pass, it can't be that the coach sees that Ayton sticks the center of the attack and makes it difficult to penetrate the paint because He parks there and doesn't react, it can't be that Klingen gets all his balls from rebounds and doesn't get a pass or drill for him, it can't be that three games kill us in the third quarter and Billups stays with the same offensive scheme, the same substitutions, there is no creativity, the biggest problem is the coach

I used to hate this dude as our coach but now I think heโs doing better and better with each blazer loss. Keep going Billups, at-least youโre good for something. Most losses in Blazer history would be something he could be proud of ๐
