Can we please work the low post/short corner with Jabari. He is too talented and taller than most of his defenders. Countless times Steph and Pod were defending him, and we didn’t look his way at all. Ime was out coached. Kerr saw that and hid his smaller guards on Bari on the defensive end. Easy adjustment. And please PUT HIM BACK IN THE STARTING LINEUP. So frustrating to watch

Gotta love these hateful comments from people probably didn’t even watch the game but just looked at highlights and box score. Looking at the result and making excuses is the easy way out.
I watched the entire game and here is my opinion: 1st of all, this is a young team with many of key rotation players playing their 1st ever post season game. There are many things they did well, with a few areas to be sorted out. On the other hand the experienced opponent played really well last night, with Jimmy transforming into playoff Jimmy and Curry hitting several impossible 3’s. It’s hard to win a game like this to beginning with. I’m super happy with the fact the team did not panic at all, when they are down by so much and almost got themselves back to the table, at least 2 times. This is not easy for a young team, proven that this team has tough mindset which is likely Coach’s credit.
Alpi played well on both end. Adam’s is the biggest reason we stayed in the game for the 2nd half. Respect! FVV is not hitting shots but he was in the right place at the right time to take those shots. He doesn’t care how good or bad the % would look like. True leadership. Brooks had a decent game himself. Both ends. JSJ was really nervous at the beginning but got over this it and played well in 2nd half. Super hard for young player! Expecting more from now on. Amen and Jalen are both probably nervous that they didn’t play the way they usually do. This is not a bad thing. You gotta have the 1st bad one then you get used to and play normal, still proud of y’all.
Last but not least, Tari was kicking a*s and I didn’t expect this much of input from a role player on his first playoff game. Sky is the limit!
All in all, Houston is not a great shooting team and you should expect that. We did show up on the offensive board aspect which is the reason we stayed in the game, unlike Memphis the day before. However we need to execute defense better, maybe make adjustment on the game plan. Gotta lock Curry out like the last game of the season, and gambling on whether Jimmy can carry them all the way on offensive end. We gave Curry still too much room even for those split of seconds.

I expect more efficiency from Fred Van Vleet in game 2. Jalen needs to make his shots and be smart with the basketball. You can't drive all the time on this team
Golden has got massive playoff experience, but Young Houston team not in that playoff mode yet, All players must step up like Sengun, sengun played like he had played a lot of play off games its due to his motivation, all other young players need motivation

Si far in the 6 games the Rockets have played against the Warriors, Jalen Green is averaging about 10 or 11 points per game. Not will only get him traded this summer. He passed the ball or bricked shots all night
