No one is saving this disaster which is why I'm a Warriors fan now
I love sabonis I bought his jersey last year but the truth is 78% of the cap is taken up by demar lavine sabonis 2 of the 3 have to go… full reset or a semi reset starts with sabonis he is making 45 mill he doesn't have athleticism he doesn't rim protect he doesn't stretch the floor he doesn't have a post game… as a big you have to do one of those at least … yes he does get boards..if we keep sabonis it doesn't matter what else happens the team will look or play similar…
The team chemistry got ruined by the arrival of Demar. He really needs to go. There is no offensive flow to the game anymore since it's just pass the ball to Demar and let him score. How can anyone else get going when they are not involved and left out of the offense. Sabonis looks totally lost. He used to run the offense and was really good with the DHO. Even he now just gives up the ball to Demar to let him run the 1-man offensive show. This team is a disaster but first move to make would be to remove Demar. Back then so many people were saying that Demar does not fit into the offense of this team, and I did not agree back then. However, they were totally right!
Hopefully the kings can make the playoffs next season. That’s what all kings fans would love and hope for for 2025-2026 season
Haliburton DiVincenzo Mitchell was the future.
We need Taylor Jenkins.
“Winning players” should define the Kings’ identity. Perry was right to say Lavine isn’t one—and the truth is, several players on this roster fall into the same category. They lack grit. They were outworked and outclassed at home by an injury-depleted Dallas team, despite having three supposed “All-Stars.” The problem? No defense, no toughness, no competitive fire. It’s time to scrap the mandates from Vivek and build a truly winning team—no artificial timelines, no shortcuts. That’s the only way I’ll start paying for games again. At this point, I’m only a fan because I’m local—not because there’s anything here worth being proud of.
Just sayin.. people have done more with a 4% chance lol
I've said it too before. The fact is the Kings never grew it through the draft or from the ground up since adelman. The Kings historically held on to their "one near all star" and tried to piece 🧩 a few players they could get here or pushing trades like square ⬛ into a 🕳️. It has been like this over and over. Insanity. I respect that the Kings never "tanked"… But being "barely competitive" is the results…
It's an organizational issue…that needs to just hire a GM and a coach and let it brew for 6-7 years. I don't see Vivek as the hands off owner… Hes not like Dallas cowboy owner…hes at least had a championship 🏆
I would like some one like a Naz Reid, Cam Thomas…not large salaries but effective…get rid of Sabonis, derozen, and most definitely LAVINE
If the Ja Morant conversation is real let’s try to pick him up send Monk to Atlanta for Dyson Daniels trade Keon Ellis and Fultz to Miami to try to get Mitchell back this team has no point guards send Zach Lavine to Charlotte for Miles Bridges and try to resign Jake LaRavia
The count down begins. Tic tock
0.8% chance at number 1 pick…so you're saying three's a chance
15:10 I do not want Doug Christie as our coach. He’s good guy and all that you know blah blah blah Whoopty woo. But if we were to get to any level next level, we need a coach that has experience
I honestly think that we can have a reset year and probably get a little worse in some aspects and then get better in others. I don't know how it would affect wins/losses, but I do know it would make a better fit than the current mix and it makes sense for the other team as well.
It is the Miami Heat.
There is no question that what happened in Miami didn't work. The same is true in Sacramento.
I have run it through the trade machines and at least on paper, the Miami Heat get better, the Kings don't, but I think they might be better than the experts would think.
The Miami Heat get – SF DeMar DeRozan and SG Malik Monk.
The Sacramento Kings get – SF Duncan Robinson, PF Kevin Love and PG Terry Rozier.
It does fix some of the core issues with each team.
Monk and DeRozan fix Miami's issues with getting enough scoring.
For the Kings, it makes their offense make sense again. While Terry Rozier is not something to write home about as a point guard, getting Duncan Robinson might be a very slick move by them.
Not an all star game changer, but if Duncan can be the 4th option behind Lavine, Murray and Sabonis, then his perimeter play could help space the floor and make the offense flow better.
Rozier as a 5th option, knowing that every now and then he will have a game where he lights it up for 30-35, even with his bad defense, he just makes more sense than Monk at the Point Guard. He also gives the Kings a second distributor for that offense. Something they have struggled with in the post Fox era.
It would just be at that point, getting 1 good offensive creator for the bench. Preferably at PF so that Jake LaRavia can come back.
It is one idea. I am not saying that it fixes all issues or anything like that. I am only saying that for one year, it helps to reset things while we get the next pick in the system and start to build more youth into it.
Bottoming out while still being competitive. Knowing that come next trade deadline, Sabonis and Lavine probably are in more trade demand than this summer. It could lead to some teams who didn't have the draft capital this season or this summer having it by then. Just saying, it allows for an offense that makes sense, and while it doesn't have the ceiling of this season's team, it has a higher floor, which is a good thing.
I Believe the Bulls did it in 2008… from 14th place, won the lottery and picked Derrick Rose as the number 1 overall
