   They knew there was an issue in January but failed to make any changes. Ishbia even said he was adept at making quick course corrections but made no discernible changes that are apparent. I think he was being sincere but the proof is in the pudding. And I never want hear another word about a 50 game losing season in the same breath as fixing the identity. Suns fan since I was 10 years old in 1967. Am I to understand that there wasn’t a vision and now you’re going to establish one.

    You guys kill me, I’ve gone to other basketball Pods and Suns news conference is seen as toxic, bashed the former coach three years in a row and gaslighting the fan base with the narrative of how good the roster is and how more games should have been won. Please get some stones and speak truth to power… do get confrontational, do ruffle some feathers, please😐👍🏿

    I enjoyed how now it should be clear what kind of players the team will look for and coach and the team being more fun and with grit. This season I like that high expectations will not be there and I just want a team to root for that fights and has togetherness and uplifts each other. Hopefully this identity will make it clear. I was concerned when Mat said that patience is not his strong suite, but it was good to hear that they will stick to a path if it feels right and maybe starts not super great but has that identity. Thanks guys, it's good to see you fresh off the press conference and a comfort podcast after a tough season. I'm a Suns fan since 2007 and always will be, but like Ben said not long ago, this was the least enjoyable season to date. All in all, I like what Mat said and can't wait for the changes

    I have been a Suns fan for 51 years who has lived out of AZ for the past 34 years. After the trash dump fire of the last few years, I have no patience for more promises by an obviously incompetent new owner that the team will be better. Till I see that improvement I have cancelled my subscription to NBA League Pass and will no longer follow any reporting by media that follows the Suns. I have enjoyed Brendon's work over the years along with other diehard Suns reporters, but I no longer have the patience to keep following dumpster fires created by the current and former owner (Sarver). I really miss the Colangelo years, don't you?

    Look at the Suns teams of the past. They've always had a PG who's the floor general. KJ, Kidd, Nash. Theyve always had atheletic wings who defend. Always had great shooters. Phoenix basketball is about being fast paced, playing honest defense and putting the ball in the hands of their closer during crunch time. That's their identity. Look how Boston and OKC has built their squad. Through the draft, player development and continuity. The mistake Phoenix made was giving their future away for KD. Then they took on Beal. You never trade with Washington. Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
