LeBron Settles The NBA vs NFL Debate 😱

  1. Is common sense and to be honest, you don’t even have to put a lot of thought into it. The number of players on each roster tells you which one is harder to make…. You definitely have a better chance being an NBA player and try out for the NFL. It’s so simple. I’m surprised I even commented on this to be honest!!!

  2. Also it’s a height thing. There is a lot of 6’2 and below players in the nfl. Making it into the league while being that short makes it much harder

  3. Its just as difficult for each to switch. There is no easier switch up. Basketball players are made of glass. If there was no hitting/tackling i could agree but …go out and play football with a nfl caliber linebacker or a safety like ed reed. They will knock your head off and have you acting like Antonio Brown. Completely disagree.

  4. NBA players underestimate the play to play physical toll football games take on your body. Only a small percentage of nba players would be able to transition

  5. He said getting used to being hit again. You’re talking about people ehn have never been hit before. They ain’t gonna survive at that high level.

  6. Lebum said getting used to getting hit again lol…he gets touched on the arm and he acts like they broke his arm lol…in the NFL he will get lit up and cry

  7. I agree I played football my whole life then at 18-19 salt after playing ball fr in college and was no where as good as football . Which was annoying I feel like it just takes more repetition with basketball and getting that fluid motion

  8. With football, it's more about conditioning your body and your brain with the routes. With basketball you need to take more hours of practice to develop the skills and muscle memory, on top polishing your knowledge of the plays as well. And there's just more latent talent required to excel

  9. Its a draw the NBA is not more skilled. Both sports have skills that can be improved just by repeating it over and over.

  10. There’s old white guys that kill youngings at the gym but there’s no old out of shape dudes beating youngings in football. Basketball is all skill. Nfl is half skill half athleticism & nba players have both. Nfl players don’t have the basketball skill & most likely can’t shoot

  11. The level of physicality in the NFL is in another universe than anything ever happening on a pro basketball court. BUT basketball requires so much more skill and technique.

  12. The most important element is also the fact that the NFL has so much specialization. In the nba everyone needs to be good at everything or be so elite at something it makes up for your weakness. Yes there is positions but in the modern age, the game is becoming something where anyone can play any positon as long as they got the size requirment down. In the NFl, you focus on a single role, perfect that craft, and you can't do anything else.

  13. It’s disrespectful tbh. There are so many nfl players that could’ve chose basketball over football and so many nba players that could’ve chose football over basketball. They forget we all grew up playing everything. I don’t think it’s that big of a difference tbh. Yes there’s a difference if the football guy never hooped but same goes for the basketball guys that never played football🤷🏾‍♂️

  14. Basketball is a pure skill based sport with lots of athleticism
Football is a highly athletic aggressive sport with some skill (it just depends)
But I think everybody can agree most the skill in football comes from just being big or being fast
I don’t see how NBA players couldn’t, they run just as fast they jump just as higher if not higher and they’re already used to catching like LeBron said there would be like an adjustment period but in all honesty, I think probably most players in the NBA could probably make it to the NFL. Also, gotta think about it. A lot of these NBA players played football in high school.

  15. Another thing is the height. NFL players would be considered small in the nba and in order for them to be successful they’d have to be a generational talent.

  16. Are we really arguing if players who are incentivized to make contact on every play are better at putting a ball in a hoop that’s double its diameter.
I’m not arguing shooting capabilities I’m arguing physical attributes and basics. Most football players aren’t tall enough to dunk but I guarantee nba players can’t just jump over them with that pull strength. Best case scenario with all the NBA injuries they couldn’t actually finish a full game, let alone challenge the NFL.

Fun fact: Football players make terrible boxers that’s been proven

  17. I played both sports definitely a basketball player going into the nfl is more realistic but both transitions would be difficult

  18. Westbrook, Dort, Paloe Banachero, LeBron, Steven Adams, Gianiss, Ja Morant, J dub, Jrue Holiday, Ant, Zion, Kawaii Leonard, Jalen Brown, AD, Dearen Fox, Scottie Barnes?

  19. football is one of the easiest sports to play, ik the pads and helmet add extra weight, but that’s it, but transitioning from playing rugby my whole life to playing football, it was like going from playing basketball on a 10ft rim to a 8ft rim

  20. in basketball they are so much more in game situations while in football you play with lots of breaks and only play one main position so there’s not as much skilled involved in football it think it’s more athleticism and then i guess lots of skill in catching but other then that their isn’t much skill to football in my opinion

  21. I know AI used to play football in high school, and he would've been great at WR in nfl.
Yes, he's a bit small for conventional WR (at 6'), but his leaping ability and speed will make him unstoppable imo.

  22. Any asshole can run as tackle someone trying shooting a basketball from 24 feet away constantly or try dribble down the court without getting pick pocketed

  23. Wanna know what’s funny most athletes play two sports growing up some people really just choose the NFL because I like football more just saying

  24. Some people here are making dumb comments, seriously. It’s obvious basketball is the harder sport. In the NFL, you can build your physicality with weight training and conditioning—but in basketball, even one of the greatest like LeBron had to train for nearly 20 years just to develop a consistent 3-point shot. That tells you how skill-based and demanding this game really is.
